what is the CMAHC?
Created in 2013, the Conference
for the Model Aquatic Health Code
(CMAHC) is a nonprofit organization
that supports and improves public
health by promoting healthy and safe
aquatic experiences for everyone.
OUR ROLE: The CMAHC serves
as a national conduit for giving the
CDC input and advice on improving
the CDC’s Model Aquatic Health
Code (MAHC).
WHAT IS the MAHC? The
Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) is
data driven and science based, developed to provide the information necessary for owners, operators, designers,
manufacturers, local and state authorities to make swimming and other water
activities healthier and safer.
