NUS MobileMail – Configuration Guide for Apple iPhone 2.1 Software Apple iPhone enables users to synchronies their NUSmail E‐mail, Tasks, Calendar and Contacts to their iPhones over the air using 3G/HSDPA mobile carrier network or WiFi. NUSmail has been configured to work with Apple iPhone/iPod Touch. Staff and students need only follow the configurations steps below. Please refer to http://www.apple.com/iphone/enterprise/ for timely updates to the iPhone software. Important: Note that data charges incurred for the connectivity to the mobile (3G/HSDPA) or WiFi network will not be borne by Computer Centre. NUS Computer Centre supports the use of iPhone with NUSmail on a best‐effort basis only. 1.
Please refer to your mobile operator to setup the 3G/HSDPA connectivity and/or your hand‐
phone manual to setup the WiFi connectivity. Ensure that the connectivity is available before proceeding. 2.
Select Settings 3.
Select Mail, Contacts, Calendar 4.
Select Microsoft Exchange 5.

Enter your account information as below. For Staff, please enter nusstf under Domain. For students, please enter nusstu. Click Next. You may be prompted with the following. Please select Accept to continue. 7.

Enter more of your account information as shown below. Take note to enter exchange.nus.edu.sg under Server. For staff, please enter nusstf under Domain. For students, please enter nusstu. Select Next. Click on Save to accept the default setting or change Contacts and Calendars to ON if you wish to synchronize them as well. 9.
Go back to your main menu and you will see Mail has already downloaded some email.
