Position: Water Treatment Plant Operator Supervisor
Location: Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Colorado
Salary and Benefits: $28.51 to $35.30 / Per Hour
Job Description: The position is designated as the Operator of Responsible Charge with
responsibility for the planning, supervision and administration of the work activities and
personnel of the Park’s water and wastewater utility unit. The position
oversees the activation, operation and deactivation of water and wastewater systems
throughout the park.
Government housing may be available in the park headquarters area. Housing assignments
are made through a bid process when available. Employee is required to live within a
15 minute response time to duty station.

Job Requirements:

Colorado Class A Water Operator’s license.

Colorado Class 2 Water Distribution license.

Colorado Class 1 Wastewater Collection license.

U.S. Citizenship Required

Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.

Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random testing thereafter.

Must possess a valid State Driver's License.
You must possess or be able to obtain within 18 months the following licenses:Colorado
Cross-Connection Control Technicians license. Class B CDL with hazardous materials, air brake and
tanker endorsements. Lab Director/Director of Water Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring.
Systems cleaner license.
