SCPA Young Life
Young Life is a non for profit, interdenominational Christian youth ministry which
has been in existence for over 60 years.
It functions nationwide in all 50 states,
in over 1,000 communities and nearly 5,000
ministries in more than 54 countries worldwide. Young Life exists to provide high
school students with an honest and unpressured look at the person of Jesus Christ and
the Christian faith.
Our goal is to see people become interested in the Christian faith and its relevance to their lives. We seek to involve and
reinvolve young people in any church with
which their parents or guardians may be affiliated.
The program in South Central PA is
supported almost entirely by local contributions, nearly all of this coming from churches
and individuals. A fundraising banquet is
held each fall, and people are given the opportunity to make a tax deductible gift or
monthly pledge. Throughout the year other
fundraisers are implemented to help support
this program,

golf tournament.
