Academics
AUGUST has been going to school for a total of 16 years, including primary school which he graduated in 2006. After finishing the higher technical examination in 2010, he carried out
his military service as a Private before enrolling at business
college studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration. He graduated in 2013. Currently AUGUST is studying
Industrial Medicine at university and his goal for the future is to
get a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. His former jobs includes working
in retail, as a bartender and a sales manager for a large international company in Denmark. AUGUST has also worked as
a volunteer at a Salvation Army centre. His native language is
Danish and he also speaks English and German.

Describe the best holiday you have had:
Hiking with my dad in Sweden when I was 11. We had rented
a small cabin near a lake and went out fishing in a small canoe
every day. We never caught anything and ended up driving to
the “local” grill 20 km away. Luckily goodies in Sweden are
very cheap so we basically lived of mashed potatoes, hotdogs
and liquorice the whole week.
What do you like the most about your own country:
It is a very safe country and you do not have to lock your front
door when you’re at home. You can trust people and there is
very little of bribery, not noticeably at least.

Accordion.

AUGUST’s dreams, favourites and experiences
Who are your idols/heroes/heroines?
My mother. Because no matter what she has always stood up
for me and trusted me to do the right thing. No matter what toil
and troubles that she has met she always put her family first.
What are your goals in life?
To get a Ph.D. in neuroscience.
What is your favourite colour?
Blue.
What is your favourite animal?
Tiger.
What were your childhood dreams:
To become a Formula 1 driver for Ferrari.
Which values do you rank the highest?
Loyalty.
Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you?
When my first pet dog died. He was a bizarre breed of a terrier
and something unknown and I had had him since I was three
years old. He died when I was 12.
Which was your greatest experience or moment?
Realizing what I wanted to study.
Happiest: Spending my summer holidays at my grandparents’.
Funniest: My dad very very rarely tells jokes. But when he
does they’re always inappropriate and awkward in the funniest way.
Scariest: When I was 10-11 years old I was visiting my grandparents for the weekend, when my grandmother all the suddenly got very ill and had to be taken to the hospital with pneumonia.
Proudest: Getting 12 in most of my exams in high school despite having been away half the time with mononucleosis.
Most dangerous: The loss of both my grandparents.
Greatest sorrow: I was hit by a speeding car and suffered
only minor bruising.
