Public Policy Committee
SDNEDC plays a vital and unique role as the foremost local organization focused on the overall health and vitality

Civic Leadership
Members are key supporters and articulators of SDNEDC’s mission. SDNEDC membership provides public and

Board of Directors
SDNEDC’s Board of Directors meets monthly. The Board deals with critical organizational issues, and provides an
opportunity for Board of Directors members to connect with each other on a regular basis. The Board of Directors
also oversees SDNEDC’s committees which focus on issues inherent in the mission of the organization and
address key topics related to regional prosperity and engage members in organizational stewardship.

Special Events Committees
SDNEDC hosts multiple events throughout the year such as our Meet the Elected Officials Luncheon in May, the
Economic Summit in March, and our signature Annual Business Luncheon in December. We wish to include all of
our investors who would like to assist in the planning and execution of the event through these committees.

Special Events & Opportunities
SDNEDC’s Signature Events are attended by leading business, government and community leaders. SDNEDC also
offers special programs and private member events that focus on topics of regional interest.

Economic Research & Other Resources
Members have preferred access to SDNEDC’s economic research for regional statistics, demographics, industry
trends and more. Members also receive an e-Newsletter.

Economic Development Committee
The SDNEDC Economic Development Committee consists of business leaders, public representatives,
and regional partners, who work collaboratively to create tangible programs and initiatives to improve
North County’s economy.
