DIRECTIONS AND PARKING FOR SEA DRAGON CHARTERS
HORSESHOE BAY – SEWELL’S MARINA
Take Highway #1 West, following signs to Horseshoe Bay. Stay in the far left lane, and exit left at the
Horseshoe Bay “Village” sign, 500 meters before the ferry terminal. You will get onto Keith Road,
which dead ends on Bay Street, at the water. Turn left on Bay Street.
Summer months:
Take a right opposite Starbucks into the Sewell’s Marina Car Park. Unload gear, and move car to a
valid car park.
Winter months:
Travel past the park and turn right on Nelson Ave. Travel toward the Boathouse Restaurant located
at 6695 Nelson Avenue, where there is a loading zone at the dock. You can unload your equipment
here but you must move to other pay lots.
DO NOT PARK IN ANY SEWELL’S MARINA PARKING LOTS IN THE SUMMER MONTHS
The closest parking is located across the back lane behind the Olive and Anchor restaurant (also
accessible from Bruce Street). BC Ferries have both an outdoor lot and underground parking. This
costs about $10 – $20 for the day. There is also pay parking behind Bay Moorings Restaurant, where
you can park for $12 -$18/day, depending on the time of year. Street parking is available for free,
but it is only for 2-3hrs max, so this is not long enough for most charters.
If you have equipment, you need a $1 for the wheelbarrow, which is refunded when you return it.
Transit – Take the 257 express from downtown Vancouver to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal.
