Sheraton Only From Aloft 13-17 mins. 8:35 AM Arrangements have been made to store your luggage before you leave for the parade. Bring your bags to the front desk to store them for the day. Because of the large crowds and highoccupancy, late check outs Saturday morning are reported as unavailable. You may walk or ride to the parade start. We will run the buses twice. It is a relatively short walk and, with traffic and closed streets, it is probably quicker to walk unless you have a large instrument. .8 miles from the Sheraton and .7 miles from the Aloft. Water for the parade and post parade will be available at the Sheraton (Hospitality Suite and/or lobby door). Have your fanny pack and bring water WITH you! Large instruments and Guard equipment left the previous night will need to be unloaded at staging area (everyone please help!). Staging Area Proceed back to your parking at the Sheraton after the shuttle run. Await next stops as below. To: Band Staging (area 58) on Monroe Street between Third and Fourth Avenue. It is a relatively short walk and, with traffic and closed streets, it is probably quicker to walk than ride the bus unless you have a large instrument. Guard equipment left on the bus overnight will be unloaded for you and will be waiting! Band Staging (area 58) is on Monroe Street between Third and Fourth Avenue. “Wise, Men, Say…” Fanfare! We’re going to film a short video for the One More Time Again Marching Band in Portland with an ENTHUSIASTIC shout-out to join us in Seattle 2016. The Parade begins at Brevard Street On S. Monroe Street. .3 miles South of Rounders staging Parade ends at E. Madison Street still on S. Monroe Street. .25 miles from end of the parade. Everyone will walk!! “Rock, Jazz, Blues Stage” just South of Andrews Capital Grill and Bar Walk across grass in front of the historic Capitol Bldg to East Jefferson Street. Left on E Jefferson to in front of the “Rock, Jazz, Blues Stage” See map attached to this document! Placement in front of the stage (Grill & Bar is at 228 S Adams St Tallahassee, FL) Trap Drum Set Delivery Driver should enter from Duval Street heading north and turn right to W. Jefferson Street; this to unload the trap-drum set before the parade. SEE LEE for parking permit the night before! Bus Staging Buses may take same route for collection of large instruments and Guard gear just before Noon (after the concert). It is a short .4 mile walk back to the Sheraton. We suggest walking if you don’t need to load Guard gear or large instruments on the bus (see map). Both buses to meet us here! Buses return to hotel with equipment and minimal riders Springtime Tallahassee Hospitality Suite Open Buses leave the Sheraton Buses leave the Aloft Evening 9:30PM (estimate) asked Nope, we’ll do it in two quick takes at 9:45AM!!!! The buses are not scheduled to stop.
