Veranstaltungszentrum Hochholzerhof At U1 station “Stephansplatz” take the exit “Graben” and go straight ahead till the end of “Graben”, first turn right and than left into “Bognergasse”. On the right side you will find BAWAG P.S.K., to enter into Veranstaltungszentrum Hochholzerhof turn right into “Seitzergasse”. U1, U3 ‘Stephansplatz’ General remarks: Public transport is safe and very well developed in Vienna. It is the easiest way to move around from about 5:30 am to 0:30 am. Tickets are available at the stations (automatic tellers or ticket-shops) or in a "Trafik" (small shops selling tobacco and newspapers). The price for a single ticket is Euro 1,50. For special tickets please ask at a ticket-shops in a station. Arrival by train & bus There are two main railway and bus stations in Vienna: “Wien Südbahnhof” and “Wien Westbahnhof”. There you can use the public transfer to reach the BAWAG P.S.K. Veranstaltungszentrum Hochholzerhof. • “Wien Südbahnhof” – BAWAG P.S.K. Veranstaltungszentrum Hochholzerhof Leave the train station in direction “Wiedner Hauptstraße” and turn right into Favoritenstraße, where you’ll find the underground U1 “Südtiroler Platz”. Take U1 direction “Kagran” and exit at “Stephansplatz”. At U1 station “Stephansplatz” take the exit “Graben” and go straight ahead till the end of “Graben”, first turn right and than left into “Bognergasse”. On the right side you will find BAWAG P.S.K., to enter into Veranstaltungszentrum Hochholzerhof turn right into “Seitzergasse”. • “Wien Westbahhof” – BAWAG P.S.K. Veranstaltungszentrum Hochholzerhof Take the underground U3 in direction “Simmering” and exit at the station “Stephansplatz”. At U1 station “Stephansplatz” take the exit “Graben” and go straight ahead till the end of “Graben”, first turn right and than left into “Bognergasse”. On the right side you will find BAWAG P.S.K., to enter into Veranstaltungszentrum Hochholzerhof turn right into “Seitzergasse”. Arrival by car All motorways reaching Vienna end on “Gürtel” / “Vienna’s ring road”. Signposting to the centre is flawless. General information: All Austrian motorways are toll roads. Tickets called “Vignette” are available at the borders and must be pasted onto the front windshield to avoid a fine. On the outskirts of town, in Triester Strasse, one can find a Tourist Information Office. Speed limits: on motorways 130 kph, on highways 100 kph, in built-up areas 50 kph. The wearing of seat belts is obligatory. Traffic in the city centre is dense, and parking is very difficult. There are ‘90-minute’-zones for limited-time parking. Parking chits are available at so-called Trafiken (kiosks) or at petrol stations. It´s advisable to leave the vehicle in an underground carpark or at your hotel and to use the excellent public transport system. An overview of garages can be found under http://www.parkeninwien.at/.
