Old Ford Water Recycling Treatment Plant

Aim:
– To reclaim treated wastewater effluent for non-potable, secondary use
– distributed to the Olympic Park via a separate dedicated non-potable network
– toilet flushing, irrigation, energy centre cooling and water features

Why?
– Water scarcity
– Sustainability – helping the ODA meet and exceed their 40% water efficiency target
(570,000 litres/day of potable water saved)
