How to Measure, Sizes & Prices
Measure 1½” to 2” up from the corner of the horse’s mouth. From that point, measure the
circumference of the horse’s nose (noseband).
From that same point (1½”–2” up from the corner of the horse’s mouth), run your tape measure up
the side of the face, around the poll (behind the ears) to the same point on the other side of the face
(headstall).

Another way of getting the headstall measurement is to measure (from 1½” – 2” up from the
corner of the horse’s mouth) to the very top of the poll (to the point right between the ears) and
double that measurement.
If your horse is worried by a tape measure, use something familiar to him, eg a lead rope or rein
around the head and then take the measurement from that
We can supply any combination of headstall and noseband (except draft which has wider straps) to
ensure a good fit – eg full headstall with cob noseband, large with medium noseband etc. Browbands
can be swapped around too, if necessary.

A driving version of the Bitless Bridle is available in black Beta and differs from the riding version
