HOW TO GET TO PRATLEY HEAD OFFICE (IN KRUGERSDORP)
FROM O.R. TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Total distance 54,6 km.)
The physical address you are going to is: 14 JACKSON STREET, FACTORIA, KRUGERSDORP. The
town of Krugersdorp lies to the West of Johannesburg. These instructions take you on the R24 from
the airport and anti-clockwise onto the N3 ring road around Johannesburg. Then via the off-ramp at
"Gordon Road" to take “Ontdekkers road” west to Krugersdorp where Pratley is located. (Route is
R24, N3, N1, Gordon Road, Ontdekkers Road, Barratt Road, Foley Street, Jackson Street.)
1. On leaving the airport follow signs to the R24 highway towards Johannesburg.
2. As you exit the airport complex on the R24 pass under the last road/rail flyover (you will have
a large Caterpillar agent and “CAT” sign on LHS). Zero your odometer now.
3. 8,5 km - road merges with N3 (N12) highway. Immediately get into the middle lane of this 5
lane road. Follow signs to “Pretoria N3 (N1)”.
4. 10.2 km – Take left fork in highway and then immediately peel off to the right to follow signs
to “Pretoria N3 (N1)”.
5. 13,5 km – Overhead sign says “N1 Roodepoort”. Continue on this highway which is a ring
road around Johannesburg.
6. 24.9 km – Overhead sign says “Roodepoort Bloemfontein”. Continue straight towards
Roodepoort and cross over the Pretoria N3 highway.
7. 38,6 km – Take the “Gordon Road” off-ramp and at the top of the ramp turn right and go
straight through a set of traffic lights.
8. 39,7 km – Traffic lights at intersection of Gordon Road and Ontdekkers road. (A restaurant on
LHS called “Founders‟ Grill”, garage on RHS.) Turn right into “Ontdekkers Road”.
9. 47,5 km Pass “Westgate” Shopping centre on LHS.
10. 51.2 km Pass Witpoortjie station on LHS.
11. 52,8 km – Major set of traffic lights. Turn 90 degrees left (not hairpin left) into Barratt Road.
(Signboard "Factoria", “Fish „n More” on RHS, Telkom Tower on LHS) (You have only 1,8
km left to go.)
12. + ½ km further on pass Luipaardsvlei Station on your LHS & Shell fuel depot on RHS.
13. + 0,7 km further on turn R into Foley Street (Careful, Foley Street is not well signposted!) The
building on this corner is called “Speedmark House”. Signboard "Factoria".
14. 200 m down Foley street at first stop turn L into Jackson Street.
15. Jackson Street is a 400 m Cul-de-Sac and Pratley (Pty) Ltd is the last factory at the end of
Jackson Street

HOW TO GET TO PRATLEY HEAD OFFICE (IN KRUGERSDORP)
FROM PRETORIA (OR SANDTON)
1. Travel West along the N14 (Krugersdorp Pretoria Highway, which becomes the R28) towards
Krugersdorp.
2. At the 3rd traffic light, turn Left into Voortrekker Road and reset your odometer to zero. (The
first traffic light – bottom of Krugersdorp Hill, with Cradlestone Mall on the left. The second
traffic light – opposite Silverstar Casino. The third traffic light – Key West Mall diagonally on
the right)
3. Continue on Voortrekker Road through three (3) sets of traffic lights at 0,4 km, 1,9 km and 3,2
km respectively.
4. After the 3rd set of lights, the road bends left. (The landmark is Burger box Roadhouse on the
RHS.)
5. After this bend take the first street to the right at 3.9 km. (This street has two names:
“Wright” Street and “Priestman Street”.)
6. The street bends left. Take the first turning right (hairpin bend) into Dyke Street (4,4 km).
7. Dyke Street bends left. At the first stop (4,9 km mark) turn right into Jackson Street.
Jackson Street is a 400 m Cul-deSac and Pratley Manufacturing is the last factory at the end of
Jackson Street.
HOW TO GET TO PRATLEY HEAD OFFICE (IN KRUGERSDORP)
FROM JOHANNESBURG AND EAST RAND
1. From the N1 (Concrete Highway), take the Gordon Road off-ramp to Ontdekkers Road.
(Zero your odometer when you turn into Ontdekkers road.
2. Continue with Ontdekkers Road travelling west towards Krugersdorp.
3. Pass Horizon View shopping centre on LHS.
4. Pass Westgate shopping centre on LHS at 7,8 km.
5. Pass Witpoortjie station on LHS at 11,5 km.
6. 1 ½ km past Witpoortjie station reach a major set of traffic lights. Turn 90 degrees left into
Barratt Road. You will again have the railway line on your LHS. Signboard "Factoria". Do not
take the hairpin left. You have only 1.8 km left to go.
7. + 1 ½ km further on pass Luipaardsvlei Station on your LHS & Shell fuel depot on RHS.
8. + 200 m further on turn R into Foley Street (Careful, Foley Street is not well signposted!) The

9. At first stop turn Left into Jackson Street.
