Often times the use of finished cable assemblies is simply not
possible due to space limitations of existing installation conditions.
In these cases, L-com’s offering of field friendly products are the
perfect solution. Our terminal block HD15 and MD4 products
allow termination of SVGA and S-Video lines without the use of
any special tools and our SVGA low profile disconnect series allow
cable routing through conduit as small as 3/4 inch. These products
will solve your difficult field installation problems.

DB9, DB25 or HD15 Female Connector for Field Termination - Panel Mountable
These field termination female connectors provide an easy and convenient way to perform field termination of any DB9, DB25 or HD15 cable. Separate
connection points are provided for all positions of the connector plus the ground. Terminal block design with set screws provides reliable electrical
connections without special tools. The terminal block area is clearly marked making proper termination virtually foolproof. Panel mountable for thickness
up to 0.062”.

Prepare bulk cable by exposing coax
and conductor lines as shown.
Insert coax center conductor and shield as well as
conductors into appropriate terminal slot as indicated
in the supplied wiring diagram. Tighten the setscrews.
Attach the completed assembly to the
mounting surface.
Mini DIN 4 - S-Video Jack for Field Termination
The MD44FT field termination Mini DIN 4 female jack offers a quick and easy field termination using common tools. Terminal blocks with set screws
ensure reliable electrical connections. The terminal block area is clearly marked making field termination virtually foolproof. This unit is designed to fit
common .5" circular or D style openings. The undercut PCB area provides a convenient area to secure a cable tie wrap resulting in a neat dressing for
the terminated cable. Custom configurations will be considered with modest minimums.
