How to Remove the Ear Cartilage from a Fox or Coyote
STEP 1
Skin fox/coyote down to ears as
usual.
STEP 2
Insert screwdriver between ear and
skull.
STEP 3
Pull straight down until the cartilage
and fur pull apart.
STEP 4
The cartilage remains on the carcass
and the back of the ear remains on
the pelt.
STEP 5
Repeat process for the other ear and
skin the rest of the pelt down to the
nose.
