HOW TO USE SKYFLO™ POUR SPOUT
Preparation
z
z
Unpack the box, check stuff as per the packing list.
Take the Spout and insert the straw.
Straw
Pouring
z
Make sure liquid is inside the bottle, this version is not for
syrup yet
z
Insert the spout cork deep to make bottle presence sensor
contact the edge of bottle.
z
Air is released from the bottle with open and close of the
spout.
z
Rotate the bottle, quickly but smoothly, to at least a 160
degree angle.
Changing Serving Sizes
z
Make sure Skyflo Spout sit on the top of bottle up before
you push the Black Button.
z
Push the button and Blue LED lights blinks, within 3 second
re-push the button to choose the 4 optional sizes.
z
Blue LED light blinks from left to right with serving sizes of
20ml, 30ml, 40ml and 50ml (or free pour).
z
Choose a size, within 3 seconds rotate the bottle to pour.
z
Continually pouring/dispensing will keep the same size as
what you chose.
z
Rotate back the bottle; pour size resumes 30ml by default.

Changing Bottles
z
Rotate the bottle, spout does not pour when bottle runs empty.
It sends message to Master Control Unit for changing a new bottle registration.
z
Remove the spout and attach it to a new, full bottle of the same size and brand.
z
Changing of bottles can be printed out at your glance. (future version)
Low Battery Indication
z
Push the button or rotate the bottle, when the first left Red LED blinks twice hastily within 1
second, this indicates low battery.
z
With the Li-ion battery inside, Spout can pour 4,000 drinks without recharging battery.
z
When Battery is low, either the spout will stop pouring or the pour sizes become not precise.
z
Low battery status can be printed out at your glance. (future version)
Recharging Battery
z
Open the charging connector cover at the bottom of spout, connect the USB cable and plug the
charger. Recharging work can be done within one hour. Over time charging is not recommended.
Connecting to PC
z
Open the charging connector cover at the bottom of spout, connect the download cable to PC,
run Skyflo Software - Skyman, configuration can be done easily such as to change the default
size.
Cleaning
z
Remove the spout off the bottle and keep it up before you push
the button.
z
Push the button till 2 seconds, when blue LED blinks, re-push
button within 1 second. Spout is open and in-activated.
z
Briefly rinse the spout in warm/cold water while agitate the spout.
z
Push the button till 2 seconds, when blue LED blinks, re-push
Button within 1 second. Spout is activated and close.
z
When Spout is open, cleaning mode can keep 1 minute then
resume close. (future version)
z
Do not keep the spout submerged in water.

Do not wash the spout more than once a day.
z
Do not wash with water that is too hot to touch.
z
Do not bleach or use abrasive cleansers.
z
Do not leave a pour spout soaking in water.
z
Do not leave a pour spout in a dishwasher.
Changing Cork
z
Cut the old cork with knife and replace a new cork.
z
Two different cork sizes are available to feed the bottles.
LED Blinking Instructions
z
Incline the bottle 45 degree, all LEDs are on, then it cuts from the right to the very first left, which
means no liquid is detected.
z
1st left and last right LED blinks, communication with master is error;
z
Middle two LED blinks, Bartender ID searching.
z
keep pushing the button for 5 seconds, first see left 2 LED blinks, hold button till see 4 LED blinks
and release, 4 LED blinks again then cut and blinks from right to left, within 3 seconds Spout
system reset.

How to Connect to Skyflo Beer Monitor
Cut the Beer Line and insert the flow meter, plug the connector to Skyflo Beer Monitor and
connect to Power, installation is done in a few minutes.
One Beer Monitor can control up to 4 beer lines.

Connect Master Unit to PC (for demonstration)
Steps for the FIRST TIME RUN
1. Copy files "mscomm.reg", "mscomm32.ocx","regocx.bat" to
Windows system folder (Windows XP is windows/System32).
2. Run "mscomm.reg" and "regocx.bat"
How to Connect
1. Connect Master to your computer with RS232 cable
(One RS232 to USB converter is available for easy connection to PC)
2. Run skyapp.exe
3. Choose right com port number, if "Unconnected", reset the Master Unit button.
4. Leave other settings default
9600,7,Ddd,1,None,Harton
5. Press "call"
6. If there is no fault, the Status should be: "Connected"
7. If the Message Box "Can not connect!" means com port not exist or used by other prog. Please try
another COM port.
Notes:
Skyapp.exe is designed in WinXP, we do not test it in Win2K, it may not support Win2K.
How to know if the wireless network is built
1. Read the How to Use Skyflo Pour Spout
2. Insert the Spout into a bottle with liquid inside
3. Make sure the bottle contact sensor is activated
(Air is released by hearing motor running)
4. Rotate the bottle to pour
5. Data is sent and registered on Master Unit,
You may see it on the PC demonstration software.
Connect Master Unit to Printer (Stand-alone version)
1. Connect our Master Unit to a EPSON TMT88 thermal printer via the printer cable.
2. With all pour events data is stored in the Master Unit.
3. Activate the middle black navigation button on Master Unit, navigate the button to enter the “printer”
menu as per LCD displays, push the navigation button and enter “print setting”, select by leaving
“product”, “waiter” “device” or “table” as showing status, activate the “Menu” button to enter “Today’s
“ events or “Yesterday’s”, press the middle navigation button to instruct printing report.
4. A print report listed by different category will be available for your glance.

General format of the messages
For this type of communication the ECR starts and controls the dialogue which is used by the MTER to
contact the ECR. It is mandatory to make a polling every 500 millisecond minimum in order to not
overload the MTER.
