We are recruiting a professional to work on a rewarding project in the fields of English language
assessment for International Higher Education
Working in the Academic & Government Relations group, you will be responsible for:
• Representing ETS TOEFL® Program and ETS GRE® program in student all student facing
activities including fairs and other events Responding promptly and appropriately to
issues, questions or concerns from test takers and higher education representatives
about ETS’s assessment
• Providing workshops and training seminars to students, English Language Teachers (and
academic staff)
• Assisting in the development of marketing and other outreach materials
• Working with the back office to facilitate in resolving issues
• Reviewing and preparing contact databases and providing trip reports
• Providing general organizational support to the team
At least two years of experience, including:
• Experience working with students or student networks would be an asset
• Experience working with English language teachers
• Experience working with organizational/ administrative tasks
• Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual environment
• Experience working in customer service or sales would be an asset
Other qualifications:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Travel availability (in Germany and abroad)
• Organizational skills, flexibility, taking responsibility and being able to work in a dynamic
team
• Knowledge of the German higher education system would be a valuable asset
Education:
 University Degree
 Specialization in Business/ Languages/ International Relations would be an asset
 Post graduate degree would be an asset
 Experience/ Certificate of teacher of English as a second/ foreign language
Languages:
• Bilingual English-German. Other European languages would be an asset
Note that this position is home-based and involves occasional week-end work and frequent
travel across Germany and abroad.
Contract: 1 year with possibility of extension
