How to ‘Re-Snap’ Your RICS Enterprise POS
1) Open ‘My Computer’ and select the drive where your RICS Enterprise files are stored. The default location is
the (C:) drive.
2) Navigate to the ‘Data’ folder within ‘RICS Enterprise POS’. As shown below, the default path is ‘Program Files’ >
‘RICS Software’ > ‘RICS Enterprise POS’ > ‘Data’ (‘Data’, NOT ‘Database’)

4) Select all the files in that folder, and ‘Delete’. Click ‘Ok’ if asked for permission to delete.
5) On your desktop, double-click on the ‘RICS Enterprise POS’ to open.

6) RICS Enterprise POS should open and prompt with the message below. Click ‘Ok’.
7) Copy the License Key from your e-mail from the RICS Implementations Team for the POS you are preparing to
snap. (To copy, highlight the License Key as seen below and press Ctrl+C or right click on the highlighted text,
and select ‘Copy’)
8) Re-open your ‘RICS Enterprise POS’ by double-clicking on the icon on your desktop.

9) In the ‘Request License Key’ dialogue box that will pop up, either click ‘Paste from Clipboard’ or right-click in the
‘License Key’ box and select ‘Paste’.
10) For a moment it will appear that you’re ready to login, but in a few seconds the ‘Synchronization in Progress’
box will appear showing the progress of your ‘Snap’.
11) When the ‘Synchronization in Progress’ is finished, the box will close and your ‘Snap’ is complete. You are now
ready to login to RICS Enterprise POS.
