Persimmon
Together We Make A Home
The Perfect Environment
Naturally, you’re looking for a home that’s
been developed in harmony with the local
environment. So we explore the local
architecture and, if a development is close
to a period property or buildings with local
character, we try to ensure our homes
blend in.
We also look to retain and incorporate local
landmarks to give our developments a
special local atmosphere. We even go one
step further by planting new trees and
creating beautiful landscaping schemes, so
that in no time at all our new developments
will look as though they’ve been there
forever and a day.
Designed in sympathy with the location,
we always respect, protect and enhance the
environment to ensure a home and lifestyle
that’s perfect for you.
You demand the best...
Every Persimmon home is built to the
highest standards. That way we can
be sure you’ll fall in love with your new
home from day one.
At Persimmon we offer you something
unique and very special. It’s called our
Persimmon Pledge, and it’s your guarantee
that your home is built to the most exacting
of standards.
As you’d expect of such a well-respected
national builder, this is no empty promise.
We carry out a comprehensive 24-point
check on your new home to ensure
everything’s just right. From the foundations
to the plumbing, we go through everything
with a fine-tooth comb to give it our own
stamp of approval.
Next, before you even move in, you’ll receive
a personal demonstration of your property
and all its facilities by an experienced
member of our team. From how to operate
the security system to the location of the
stopcock, we’ll take you through the myriad
of things you’ll need to know to feel
right at home.
Customer Care Excellence
It’s all part of our absolute commitment to
customer care where we support you every
step of the way.
For instance, once you have moved into your
new home we’ll provide a courtesy call and
a service inspection to take care of any
snags. Indeed, you’ll also receive a dedicated
customer care line number for any issues or
questions you may have, along with an
invitation to our weekly construction clinic
for all new homeowners.
For added peace of mind, we provide a full
emergency cover line number in the event
of a service supply failure such as gas,
electricity or water. And remember, every
new Persimmon home comes complete with
a 2-year Persimmon Warranty and a full
10-year Premier Guarantee or similar
approved guarantee.
We’ll give you nothing less.

as its proximity to London.
Epsom and Ewell
History
Epsom and Ewell can trace their roots back to
Saxon times with names derived from the Saxon
landowner Ebba and the Ewell spring. The area
grew in importance over the centuries,
especially after the world famous Epsom Downs
Racecourse held its first race in 1661. The
Racecourse now holds 2 of the 5 English classic
horse races The Derby and The Oaks.

Thanks to the areas fantastic location you are
just a short train ride from one of the worlds
greatest shopping destinations. London is a
shopaholics dream with shops, boutiques and

great shops and amenities within walking
distance of the development.
Sports and Entertainment
The borough is blessed with plenty of great
recreational options. There are a number of
wonderful places to eat, from fresh local
produce to cuisine from the four corners
of the globe. In the evening the Epsom
Playhouse is a popular option with a varied
program of shows. The Downs plays host to
numerous live events during the summer and
then of course there is the famous
racecourse holding some of the best horse
racing to be found anywhere in the world.
Nearby
You are spoilt for choice when visiting places
around Epsom and Ewell. With the likes of
Chessington World of Adventure, Hampton
Court Palace, Kingston upon Thames and
London just a stones throw away you will

Creating a better place to live and work
Many Persimmon homes are
built with timber frame
technology. This means a
reduction of 50% in heating
costs compared to an
average house in the UK*
making it a cosier, and more
comfortable home.
On the outside, your home will feature the
familiar design of a Persimmon home which uses
traditional materials such as brick, stone or
render. Your property will be durable and finished
to an exceptional standard. And underneath, the
hi-tech backbone creates new levels of efficiency
and building rigidity.
Timber frame technology uses preservativetreated, kiln-dried timber and uses highperformance insulation, vapour control and
breather membranes. The insulation has been
selected for fire resistance and thermal efficiency.
Timber frame through the use of sustainable,
recyclable materials creates less impact on the
wider environment - the overall carbon dioxide
emissions for timber construction (the embodied
carbon dioxide) are up to six times lower than for
masonry*. And in relation to the Government's
code for sustainable homes, most building
elements with timber specifications largely fall
into the 'A+' or 'A' rated categories
compared to masonry**.
All new buildings have to conform to new
thermal efficiency standards. But, because wood
is such a good natural insulator, timber frame
buildings have been exceeding these standards
for years. Because of the excellent insulation of
the structural shell, hand-in-hand with detailed
draughtproofing, the whole home heats up more
quickly, without any cold areas and it's cosier and
more comfortable for you.
Our homes set new standards for energy
efficiency and build quality and are fully
approved by a full 10-year Premier
Guarantee as applicable to each development.
Finishing Touches
Ensuring your property
reflects your personality is
important. After all, that’s
how to feel truly comfortable
in the most important place in
the world – your own home.
We all dream of owning a home that reflects
our individual tastes and personality. And at
Persimmon homes we believe in giving every
house buyer that special privilege. That’s why
we build such an impressive range of house
types at such great value for money prices.
But choosing a home to suit you
down to the ground is only the start.
Our Finishing Touches collection lets you
personalise your home inside and out, and
enhance it by adding or upgrading selected
items from an extensive range. And you can
rest assured that each item has been
carefully chosen to complement the style
and immaculate finish of your new home.
Persimmon
Together We Make A Home
