How to Clean and Maintain a NYALIC® Coating
• The First 2-Weeks, Do not wash a Nyalic coated
surface for the first two (2) weeks. This allows the
product to properly cure.
• NEVER use a wax, polish or abrasive cleaners on
a Nyalic coated finish, these products may dull
the coating.
• After the two (2) week cure period, a Nyalic
coated surface is best cleaned using HBI’s Right
Rinse™ and a soft bristle brush. Right Rinse can
be purchased at our on-line store at
www.nyalic.com.
• It is not recommended to use compressed air to
blow down a Nyalic-coated surface. This action
can be the equivalent of media-blasting the
surface.
• NEVER USE ANY SOLVENT-BASED
CLEANERS, ESPECIALLY DEGREASERS, ON
ANY SURFACE THAT HAS BEEN COATED
WITH NYALIC. SOLVENT-BASED CLEANERS
WILL RUIN THE NYALIC FINISH.
• Fuel or solvent spills should be immediately
rinsed off with clean water and dried. Fuel or
solvent spills that are left to dry may over time
need to be touched-up using the Nyalic Touch-up
Kit available at our on-line store at
www.Nyalic.com.
• It is not recommended to use high-pressure
washers to clean a Nyalic-coated surface; doing
so can lift the coating or paint.
• Scrapes, severe scratches and other damage of
a Nyalic® coating can easily be repaired with the
Nyalic Touch-up Kit that includes Nyalic® in
aerosol. Nyalic is self-leveling making repairs
seamless with the existing coating. The touch-up
kit is available at our on-line store at
www.Nyalic.com.
