How to get there
By car
By highway E40 Oostende-Brussel
Leave highway E40 in Ghent at the traffic junction, follow highway E17 direction
Antwerp. Leave highway E17 at Gent U.Z., exit 9. Turn right, following direction
"Universitair Ziekenhuis". At the traffic lights turn left and follow the "De Pintelaan".
Before the next traffic lights, turn left, entering the University hospital campus (take a
ticket). Follow the main direction until you see the parking building at your left. The
building at your right is Blok B.
By highway E17 Rijsel-Antwerpen
Leave the highway E17 at Gent U.Z., exit 9. Turn right, follow direction "Universitair
Ziekenhuis" as far as the traffic lights. Turn left and follow the "De Pintelaan". Before the
next traffic lights, turn left, entering the University hospital campus (take a ticket). Follow
the main direction until you see the parking building at your left. The building at your
right is Blok B.
You can park your car on the hospital campus, however this parking facility is not for
free. The parking facility is situated next to the building "Blok B".
By public transport
The train station, Gent Sint-Pieters, is situated at 15 minutes walking distance from the
laboratory.
At the train station, the major tramstops ar situated in a tunnel right next to the train
station building. Two busses (nr. 49 and 65) and two tramways (nr. 21 and 22) travel
between the hospital campus and the train station.
When coming from the city centre, busses nr 5 (Heuvelpoort, Tolpoort, Van
Beverenplein, Zwijnaarde Hekers) take you to the hospital.
The lab is situated on the Ghent university hospital site "Heymans", De Pintelaan 185,
building "Blok B".
