Classes are taught in English…
… pre-requisite for admission is basic knowledge (Grundstufe 1 or A1) in
German Language  no credits
.... part of WASTE are mandatory German language classes during the first
and second semester which will lead to approx. Grundstufe 2 or A2.

 continue with “German as foreign language” 1st +2nd semester = 6 credits
• you pass at least Grundstufe II (A2.2) in Intensive Course
 continue with German classes in the language centre of the University
(not in the International Center)
•  additional classes offered and paid by WASTE
 attend a German course outside the University (e.g. IFA, but with TELC certificate or
any other certificate including grades)
 you are exempted from “German as foreign language” in 1st +2nd semester
- take 6 credits from soft skills = key qualifications (non-technical subjects)
• you pass at least Grundstufe II (A2.2) after the 1st semester = 3 credits
