Getting pumped at the JCC AICC to hold ‘Cleantech’ event The America Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC), Central Atlantic Region, will hold its second annual U.S. Israel Cleantech conference on Tuesday, Nov. 9 in Philadelphia. The event is being held in partnership with The BIRD Foundation, Israel Economic Mission, and Israel Export Institute, and will bring together Israeli and U.S. cleantech companies from the alternative energy, utility, transportation and government sectors to explore strategic development and investment opportunities. Several big name players in Greater Philadelphia’s growing cleantech industry have already signed on to attend the Nov. 9 conference, and Dr. John Byrne, a 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner and the director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy (CEEP) at the University of Delaware, will deliver the keynote address.
