How To Order AC-Only and AC/DC Exit Signs
Incandescent models: include two 12 watt lamps for 120VAC operation. For 277VAC, add 277 for transformer mounted inside
exit frame. AC/DC models include three additional incandescent lamps for DC operation.
Fluorescent models: include two 7 watt PL lamps and two ballasts mounted inside exit frame wired for single circuit installation.
Specify input voltage, 120 or 277. AC/DC models include 3 additional incandescent lamps for DC operation.

How To Order Self-Powered Mini Systems Exit Signs
The SRX Mini System has a remote capacity of 6VDC, 18 watts. The STX Mini System has a remote capacity of 6VDC. 16 watts.
Either can be used to power one or two EF9 lamps mounted on the sign or any remote load combination up to 18 watts for the
SRX Mini System and 16 watts for the STX Mini System.
Incandescent models: include two 12 watt lamps for normal AC operation and three battery powered DC lamps for emergency
operation. Units are 120/277VAC dual input.
Fluorescent models: include two 7 watt PL lamps for normal AC operation and three battery powered incandescent DC lamps

The X10 Series is available in a variety of models with options
and accessories to meet virtually any exit sign application. The
removable side panel provides job site flexibility in changing
signs for either single or double face requirements. A totally
universal model, X14, takes all the guess work out of mounting
specification. It contains two faces, a backplate and a canopy to
accommodate mounting on wall or ceilings, single or double face.

All AC-Only signs, both incandescent and fluorescent are U.L.
Listed for use in DAMP LOCATIONS
Unit Data
Housing: The Housing is constructed of 20 gauge steel, with a
tough epoxy powder finish in black or white. Stencil and open
face have field programmable knock-out directional arrows.
Light Source: Incandescent, using two 12 watt 120 VAC long
life lamps. Fluorescent, using two 7 watt PL lamps with two 120
VAC ballasts, wired for single circuit installation.
Choice Of Models
AC-Only: 120 VAC standard, 277 VAC optional.
AC/DC: 120 VAC lamps plus a choice of DC lamps standard,
277 VAC optional.
Add-A-Pack: 120/277 dual voltage power packs that are used to
field convert an AC or AC/DC sign into a Self-Powered model.
Self-Powered: 120/277 voltage. A choice of sealed
maintenance free batteries include lead calcium, long life lead
and nickel cadmium, each provide 90 minutes of emergency
illumination.
Mini Systems: 120/277 dual voltage. Extra battery capacity in
these models can be used for powering one or two heads
mounted on the unit or remote fixtures up to 18 watts.

We've taken our standard PulsePlus circuitry, with all its
standard features, and added a diagnostic option that
continuously monitors every critical function of the unit and
uses five colored LED's to indicate operational status.

Entire unit (excluding lamps, pilot light and fuses) carries a

Power Requirements:
AC Incandescent: 120 VAC, 60 Hz , 24 watts.
Self-Powered Incandescent: 120/277 VAC, 60 Hz., 30 watts.
Output: 6 VDC. Batteries provide 90 minutes of emergency
illumination.
Transfer: Dust tight relay.
PulsePlus Charger: Dual Diagnostic indicators, red and amber,
continuously monitor the condition of the battery, charger circuit
and presence of AC power. PulsePlus features include: L.V.D.
low voltage disconnect circuit automatically disconnects the
lamp load when the battery reaches 87-1/2% of capacity thus
preventing battery deep discharge damage; Lockout, a labor
saving feature that automatically connects the battery when the
AC is energized; Brownout Protection, emergency lamps are
energized when AC voltage falls to 85% of nominal;
Temperature Compensation, in high ambient temperatures
batteries need less charge voltage to prevent gassing, in low
ambient temperatures batteries requires a higher charger to
maintain full capacity. The PulsePlus automatically adjusts the
charge voltage to precisely what the battery requires; Current
Limited Output prolongs battery life; Reverse polarity protected.
Controls include a test switch and LED indicator lights.
