Connect control unit lead to valve assembly lead. Remove the battery lid from back of control unit. (Do not lose the screws.) Put alkaline batteries into the battery holder, then cover the lid and tighten screws, otherwise the batteries may be affected by dampness. NOTE: Observe battery polarity markings on battery holder assembly. 6 Connector ( ) Fig. #6 6 ( ) : 85788-T01-A -4- The state of distance adjustment has been last about 8 minutes after close the electric circuit, no flushing in this situation. Sensor light of control unit will not flush when no user, If it flashing continuously, this indicates that the room is too small or there are fixtures nearby. Adjust the induction distance referring to "Adjust the Induction Distance". The sensor will begin working normally after about 8 minutes if flushing water volume is not enough, reset the flushing time referring to "Operation State Setting" in order to changhing the flushing water volume. If flushing water volume is too small, remove restrictor from valve assembly. (Ensure that all joints are watertight.) C. INSTALL TANK COVER See Fig. #7 Open tank cover lock package and remove contents. Place tank cover upside down on a protected surface to prevent damage to tank cover finish. Place hooks inside tank cover. Hook NOTE: If necessary, engage the hooks facing opposite the direction illustrated. Using a 5/8" wrench, assemble and tighten nut, washer and lock nut on both sides of urinal. Screw CAUTION: Risk of chipping or reaking urinal. Do not overtighten screws on urinal. And the batteries are exhausted, the battery indicator lamp will flash every 2 seconds, the sensor stop working, until the new batteries are changed. Take off the lid, then change the batteries. Pay attention to the pole of the batteries and do not use the new and old batteries at the same time. Needn't reprogram after changing the new batteries. ( 20 ) 2 B. CLEANING THE FILTER B. If flushing water volume is reduced, the filter must be cleaned. Remove the nut and take out of the filter. Put it back after cleaning. NOTE: Turn off the stop valve before cleaning. : C. ADJUST THE INDUCTION DISTANCE C. See Fig. #8 The induction distance is set to maximum and usually will not require adjustment. If the toilet is small or there are other fixtures nearby, under these circumstances, it may need adjustment. Take out the stopper from the control unit; adjust the distance potential screw as shown. After setting, plug the stopper tightly. 8 NOTE: For easy distance adjustment, during the initial 10 minutes that batteries are inserted, the unit is set to operate in adjustment mode and will not flush, but the lamp will flash when a user is detected. If adjustment takes longer than 10 minutes, remove and reinsert batteries. : NOTE: The scope of the screwdriver which is used to adjust the induction distance should not be larger than 3.5 70mm, so as not to damage the potenpiometer. : 3.5 (Increase) (Decrease) Fig. #8 8 85788-T01-A -6- 70mm D.
