hibits which are on loan from the
Las Vegas Museum of Natural
History. The rare exhibit is located inside die General Mall

"Land Before Time." a 1988
feature film about a baby dinosaur In turn, the home video
division of MCA. the parent
company of Universal Pictures,
is promoting die movie and die
stamps in its own ads.
The four dinosaur stamps
diemselves do not carry advertising for the movie, nor will the
Post Office receive any of the
proceeds from sales of die videocassette or from MCA's use of
die stamps or the USPS logo.
Instead, the tie-in is designed to
increase sales of the dinosaur
stamps during National Stamp
Collecting Month.

A Lee Canyon excursion just for teens, sponsored by the Henderson Parks and Recreation Department, has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21. Youngsters will spend tiie afternoon and hike urails in die
mountains throughout the canyon arfea. The cost of die trip is $1 which
covers transportation costs; teens should bring a sack lunch or snacks
for the day, spcAespersons said. A bus will depart from the Youth
Center at 10 a.m. and from Silver Springs Community Center at 10:30
a.m.; the group will renun to Silver Springs at about 5 p.m. and to the
Youth Center at about 5:30 p.m. Registration may be made at the Civic

The Boulder Gty Art Guild will hold its annual art exhibit and sale
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Lake Mead Marina.
Members are asked to have a 5x7 card ready with information
coneming their paintings. The guild also announced that it will hold a
membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, OcL 25 at the Gallery.
The guild's circulating gallciy will be discussed at die next board
meeting, officials said.

Boulder Bridgcrs duplicate bridge session held at the Boulder City
Senior Center last week. Janet Hurst and Belle Anderson topped \hc
competition in cast-west seatings. Second- and diird-placc northsouth rankings went to Miriam Giles and Anita Leighton and Irene
Gaylord and Billic Strong, respectively. There was a tic in casi-wcsi
for second place between Jo Casper and Marianne Egglcston and Jean
Strong and Phil Nico.
