How to Pair Kensington Bluetooth Keyboard to an iPad
Overview: The directions outlined below show how to pair a Kensington Bluetooth Keyboard
case to any version of iPad.
1. Turn the iPad and the Kensington Keyboard ON.
2. Below is photo of the Apple Home screen. Tap Settings as shown below.
3. It will now open this screen. Tap Bluetooth as shown below. To turn Bluetooth slide bar
to ON as shown below.

4. With Bluetooth turned ON, it will enable the Kensington Keyboard case to be discovered
by the iPad.
5. Press the “Connect” button on the Kensington Keyboard. The “Connect button is
located at the top right hand side of the keyboard as shown below.

6. The Bluetooth Pairing Request box will display a unique code to be entered on the
keyboard as shown below.
7. Enter the unique 4 digit code using the Kensington Bluetooth keyboard and press the
enter key on the keyboard. The Bluetooth wireless keyboard will show “connected” to
the iPad as shown below.
