You may encounter the following error messages when using eziTracker
“I’m sorry, I did not hear your entry.”
It is likely that you are attempting to use a ‘pulse-dial’ telephone.
The eziTracker service requires a ‘tonedial’ telephone (since it
works on tone recognition only).
“Invalid PIN. Please try again.”
You have entered an incorrect PIN.
“Your PIN is not active. Please contact the Help Desk.” You should
call the Help Desk number shown on your PIN card.
“That is not a valid option. Please try again.”
You have entered a wrong number as a response to a prompt
or an invalid value for other information. Attempt to enter the
correct details.
“You seem to be having problems. Please contact
the Help Desk.”
You may be repeatedly making an incorrect entry, for example an
incorrect PIN. You should call the Help Desk number shown on
your PIN card.
“The location you are dialling from is inactive. Please contact
the Help Desk.”
“The eziTracker number you have dialled is invalid. You have
dialled the wrong number. Please hang up and try again.”
Each company is assigned a unique, FREE-PHONE number to be
used by their employees. If you hear this prompt, it means you
have called an eziTracker FREE-PHONE number which is not valid
for your employer.
“That is not a valid entry. Please try again.”
The ezitracker service can collect a range of other information,
including travel times, job numbers, and event numbers. The
number that can be entered for other inforamtion is checked for
a minimum number of digits, as well as being within a specific
range (ie between 1 and 10). If you hear this prompt, it means
the number entered has failed these checks. If the correct
number is not known, enter 0 followed by a # or simply enter #
and then contact your employer to confirm the correct number.
Three attempts from eziTracker.
The eziTracker service allows three (3) attempts to enter
information before the final error condition message is played
and the call is disconnected. The error message you will hear is
“You seem to be having problems. Please contact the Help Desk
for assistance”. Contact the Help Desk number shown on your PIN card.
You are trying to log-in from a previously active site, which has
been marked as inactive by your employer. You should call the
Help Desk number shown on your PIN card.
