How to Make a Test/Quiz
Click on the “Courses” tab at the top of the page and select the appropriate course from the ones listed. This will take you to the page for your
course.
To create a test or quiz, click “Add Materials”, then select “Add Test/Quiz”. A box will pop up where you can enter the name and due date for
your test or quiz. Click on the drop down next to “Category” and choose a category for your test or quiz. If no categories are listed, you will have
to click “Create new category” to make a category. If you do not choose a category, it will default to “(Ungraded)”, and the test or quiz will not
show up in your grade book. When you have finished, click “Create”.
You will then be taken to the page for the test or quiz you have just created. Click on “Add Question” to add a question to your test or quiz. You
will then be prompted to choose what kind of question you want to make (for example: multiple choice or true false).
When you have finished creating questions, click on the “Settings” tab at the top of the page. Click the arrow next to where it says “Availability”
and change it to “Available now” so that your students may take your test. You can also randomize the question order and change the paging to
“One question per page” to prevent cheating. Then hit “Save Changes”.
