I, the competitor noted in Section A, state that I or may Agent have inspected the entered vehicle against all items ticked
in Section B of this form, and confirm that the vehicle complies with all relevant minimum safety and eligibility requirements and my
signature below indicated my acceptance.
I accept that the vehicle has no fuel, oil or brake leaks. That all brake and driving lights are working. All seats belts are in good working
order including rear seatbelts for any passengers on the street or track cruise. If my car is supercharged I accept that all belts are covered
and my vehicle does have good condition tyres with no canvass or steel belts hanging out. My vehicle must be fitted with a radiator over
flow or water catchment bottle to catch any leaks. My vehicle has no structural rust. My vehicle has no wheel weights, wheel trims or
hubcaps for burnout competition. My brake lines and fuel lines are at a safe distance from the exhaust.
Cars cannot run open headers including events. Some promotional vehicles may be exempted.
Burnout participants must have a 360 degree tail shaft loop fitted except where a two piece tail shaft is fitted.

All payment will be made by cheque after the completion of the event and awarded at trophy presentation.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Upon entering, you must provide a current photograph of your vehicle and maybe used for promotional purposes. By entering into this
event you accept and agree that Powerfest SA may use you or your vehicle in publicity purposes for DVD, television commercials, and
future Powerfest SA events. All drivers must hold a current drivers licence. Learner’s permits are not permitted. If you under the age of
18, parental consent is required.
Once payment and entry form has been received you receive confirmation of your entry. Your entry can not be transferred to another
event or used as a credit. Entrants are permitted to change the entered vehicle but once it’s passed scrutineering and credentials, the car
cannot be changed. Entrants are not permitted to drive other entered vehicles.
All drivers must wear long pants, long sleeve top, enclosed shoes, socks and helmet
All drivers licences, current registration papers or vehicle permit’s must be presented at credentials office. All vehicles will undergo
scrutineering except Show n Shine vehicles only. Vehicles do not need to be registered to participate in any driving events at the track. It is
the responsibility of the owner/entrant to ensure that the vehicle is adequately prepared for the event. All entrants who’s vehicles are
unregistered it’s their responsibility to obtain a unregistered vehicle permit obtained from Department of Transport, Transport SA to
participate in the street cruise event. Power Fest SA is an alcohol and drug free event, and random breath and drug testing will be carried
out. An alcohol reading for Powerfest SA entrants is 0.00. Powerfest SA offers discounted rates with a cut off date. By pre entering you
accept the terms and conditions and understand that a refund of your entry will incur a $50 administration fee if withdrawn 4 weeks prior
to the event date. No other refunds will be issued after this time period. If any entrant does not attend the event, they understand that
they will forfeit any monies paid to Powerfest SA. Entries will not be accepted on the day. All Entrants/Vehicles/Drivers are accepted
under the discretion of the promoter. The promoter has the right of refusal or termination of any participant. Entrants who have had
armbands removed for inappropriate behaviour or misbehaviour on or off the track must take responsibility for their actions and no
refunds will be given. Any Driver/Entrant/ Vehicle, who causes damage (wilfully or un-wilfully) to any property or person, must be paid for.
The vehicle/vehicles in question and or prize money will be retained as collateral until full payment has been made. Entrants are
responsible for their actions on and off the track. Police maybe involved if required.
Any persons caught driving/attempting to drive a vehicle on the track without correct armbands or vehicle stickers will result in the
entrant/owner losing their driver credentials and privileges. Entrants are responsible for all passengers/team or crew members.
SAPOL will be in attendance and all current SA road rules must be adhered to whilst on the Powerfest SA street cruise. SAPOL have given
Powerfest SA permission to drive your unregistered vehicle on the street cruise with a U.V.P. (Unregistered Vehicle Permit)
By submitting your form, you accept Powerfest SA terms and conditions.
DRIVER INFORMATION FOR EACH EVENT
This event is a dry event, no alcohol permitted. Any alcohol found will be confiscated and you may be asked to leave the premises with no
refund issued. Random drug and alcohol testing will be conducted at anytime throughout the event. All drivers are required to have a zero
blood alcohol level. No exceptions.
Your pit allocation needs to be left clean and tidy when exiting the premises. All rubbish, waste oil, tyres, BBQ charcoal, general waste
must be taken with you or placed in bins provided. Failure for you to leave in a clean and tidy manner, you will be sent an invoice for
payment of the cleanup bill. Rubbish bins will be provided around the venue.
Powerfest SA armbands will be issued upon arrival at credentials each buddy will be required to sign a waiver of release. These arm bands
must not be removed at anytime. No armband no participation. No participants are to enter a vehicle without an armband. Armbands are
waterproof.
Security will be on site and Powerfest SA do not accept responsibility of any item or vehicle in the premises.
Power must be supplied by you.
All qualifying will be done on Saturday with finals completed on Sunday 27th January 2013
Trophy presentation will be done on Sunday 27th January
To receive your trophy or cash prize you must be present or representative present on your behalf.
Street cruise will take place on Sunday @ 1pm leaving Adelaide International Raceway
The promoter has the final say and his/her decision is final.
VENUE CRUISE
During the cruise there is to be no overtaking with no driver changed at all throughout the course of the event. Whilst on the cruise all
occupants must wear a seatbelt. At no time shall any part of your body be outside the vehicle. If you have a utility there will be no persons
in the back of the vehicle. Maximum number of passengers equals number of legal registered passenger numbers for that vehicle. There
will be no burnouts allowed during the cruise. If you do burnouts, you will be asked to park the vehicle and you will have no more
participation in the event. This will be strictly enforced. If a red flag is displayed you are to stop immediately and not to proceed any
further instruction from a Powerfest SA official. Entrants must be ready to proceed onto the track when they are instructed by the official
and also must leave the track when instructed. If you vehicle breaks down or stops for any reason you and your passengers must remain in
the vehicle until a safety vehicle arrives to either tow you off or move you to safety. You may not have any one in your vehicle without a
Powerfest SA buddy pass. This is the entrant’s responsibility.
BURNOUT COMPETITION
Entrants only have one compulsory qualifier This is where you will seeded based on points. Your points will be judged on 100 points in
total. These are made up from
instant smoke Maximum 20 points,
Consistent smoke Maximum 20 points
Ability of the driver during the burnout Maximum 20 points
Powerfest SA Crowd reaction Maximum 20 points
Blow 1 Tyre Maximum 5 Points
Blow 2 Tyres Maximum 10 points

Judges will deduct points for:
Reversing, hitting barriers, stopping, minor or major fire to a total of 50 points. Continuous burnouts on rims will result in a 50 point
penalty. You need to stop when you hit the rims.
STATIC BURNOUTS WILL RESULT IN INSTANT DISQUALIFICATION WITH A STATIC BURNOUT FINE OF $500.00 AND LOSS OF ALL POINTS.
For your compulsory qualifying burnout you will have a time limit that is 90 seconds to earn enough points to make the finals. If you start
in the starting position and do not do a static skid and do not stop in one position for more than 2 seconds in any one spot then you will not
incur the $500.00 fine and wont loose all your points and be disqualified. Everyone entering this competition should be more than
experienced not to do a static burnout and damage the pad and hinder the future of Powerfest SA so please do the right thing and keep it
moving.
The top 60 will proceed to the next round to break it down to a top 20. You will be notified for each round. All drivers are to stop if they
are flagged by an official. Failure for this will result in disqualification. All entrants bring in rims and tyres must remove all when they
leave the premises. One Powerfest SA buddy is allowed in the entrant’s vehicle during the burnout, this buddy must wear the same safety
attire as the driver including long pants, long shirt/top, socks, enclosed shoes and helmet. In the burnout competition your car must be
fitted with a 360 degree tail shaft loop those exempt are those who have a two piece tail shaft loop.
SHOW N SHINE
Show n Shine will take place on Saturday with judging happening throughout the day by experienced judges. These judges will judge you
based on Street, Tuff Street and Elite. Pending of amount of elite cars, we will have an elite pavilion.
STREET CRUISE (CAPPED AT 200 VEHICLES/BIKES)
This is where if you have ever wanted to drive your blown, turbo charged, supercharged out of the bonnet un-registrable car on the road
legally. If your vehicle has a radiator and is able to cruise for a couple of hours on the street of Adelaide then this is the cruise you want to
be on. Any modifications will be accepted.
This cruise is fully controlled and approved by the South Australian Police with a guarantee of no defects for anyone who participates in
this cruise, displaying a Powerfest SA cruise sticker and is carrying the right registration eg a U.V.P (un registered vehicle permit) and
obeying all current road rules. Your vehicle must have working lights. This street cruise will be fully attended by the SA Police with escorts
at the front and rear of the cruise. This cruise is limited to 200 cars only and all vehicle’s attending this cruise must be either registered or
carry a U.V.P. It will be fully controlled by Powerfest SA staff and SA Police. Your car may not be driven to the track unless it is registered or
it must be trailered or towed to the track then can be driven on the cruise and return back to the Adelaide International Raceway where it
must be trailered or transported home. The police have told Powerfest SA that they will confiscate anyone’s vehicle that does the wrong
thing on this cruise. And will prosecute or impound to the full extent of the law where Powerfest SA will back their decision. It only takes
one to ruin it for all. This will be an annual event where once the event has finished you may enter for the next year. Imagine finally you
are able to drive your pride and joy and show it off on the street to the people of Adelaide, canary free.
Your vehicle must stay part of the cruise whilst on route. Route to be advised and confirmed.
DRAG RACING
All entrants will have qualifying pass where it will proceed to an elimination format. No Powerfest SA buddy’s permitted in the vehicle.
Driver only.
Qualifying pass
This is where you find out what time you car can run over the quarter mile.
Elimination Format
You complete your Qualifying pass and know what time your car can run, you nominate your dial in time. A dial in time is an estimated
time you think you car can run down the quarter mile without going quicker than your chosen time. We will then pair you with a fellow
racer that will have his own dial in time and you will then have a staggered light drop on the Christmas tree which should see the both of
you finish at the same time but you must make sure you do not go quicker than your nominated time. If you win the round you will
proceed to the next round until a winner is chosen at the end of the drag racing event.
POWERFEST SUPER SKID
This is different to all other power skids. This power skid, you must start rolling and proceed into your power skid. This is where it will
really show the true horsepower of the car. You are permitted to use your brakes to control the initial hit but the vehicle must be in
motion. The judges will judge the vehicle on the driver’s ability to control the vehicle the length of the skid with smoke and the display of
horsepower. These will work on 25 points each. Maximum 100 points. All cars entering this event must have a 360 degree tail shaft loop
those exempt are those who have a two piece tails haft loop. All driver safety requirements must be worn. Powerfest SA buddy’s
permitted in the vehicle. Driver only.
CAMPING
Entrants and buddy pass holders are welcome to camp at the venue. There will be no other passes issued for people outside of entrants
and buddy’s . Showers facilities will be available for campers. It is the responsibility of the entrant to make sure that the camping area is
kept clean at all time and any bad behaviour by the entrant of the buddy’s will not be tolerated and be reported to security with the
entrant being eliminated from all events. Possible eviction and reporting to appropriate authorities may apply. You may bring in your own
marquee that it is set up and secured properly. You may camp with your vehicle.
You must supply your own power as lighting at the venue will be switched off in certain areas after the completion of the day’s events.
Under no circumstances are you to plug into any power supply at Adelaide International Raceway.
SUPPORT VEHICLES
Support vehicles are those towing an entered vehicle. Support vehicles cannot be driven inside the venue however parking for these
vehicles are available in the pit allocation area for each entrant. If the vehicle is to remain in your campsite it is not be moved or driven at
all. All vehicles will be checked for alcohol. Powerfest SA is a dry event.
MARQUEES
BOOK NOW PAY BY 1st January 2013
These will be a pre booking only. You can no have one of these marquees on the day, you must pre book and pay prior to 1st January
The marquee that you book will be yours for the duration of Powerfest SA. It is the responsibility of the entrant to make sure that the area
is kept clean at all times throughout the event. At the end of the event the marquee will be inspected and if left untidy, the cleanup bill will
be sent to the entrant. There will be bins provided for all rubbish near all marquee areas so please sure them. No tyres under no
circumstances are to be left at the venue or around the bins. They must be taken with you. You may leave your possessions in the
marquee over night but it is your responsibility not the promoter, venue owner nor security’s responsibility. There will be security
throughout the event including over night. You are welcome to camp in your marquee.
Marquees are available for hire either a 3 x 3, 6 x 6 or 6 x 9 allotment.
Pricing for the marquees are only available once we have an idea of how many marquees are required. This will give us better negotiating
if we book in a large quantity. We will contact you once we have negotiated a price
