The abstracts shall be taken into consideration for presentation at the Congress only if they meet the following requirements: The abstracts must be written in English language and submitted electronically. Abstracts must be submitted by May 31, 2014 at the latest, and exclusively in an electronic format at [email protected] Guidelines for abstract writing: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Title should be brief and it should clearly indicate the nature of the study Surnames, names of authors Maximum 300 words Abbreviations are allowed but they must be clearly defined Abstracts must not contain illustrations or tables Abstract must be written according to the following structure: - Objectives - Materials and methods - Results, which must be presented with sufficient amount of details in support of the conclusion - Conclusion - Key words 7. Drugs should be listed exclusively under an international name and not under a brand name Poster presentation Poster size 100 x 90 cm Instructions for an oral presentation 1. Time allocated for each oral presentation is 15 minutes (including Q&A). 2. The recommendation is to have a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation delivered over an LCD projector. 3. All conference rooms to be used during the Congress will be equipped with computers (XP or Windows 7 operating system, Microsoft Office package and LCD projectors). 4. Oral presentations shall be delivered in English language or in one of the languages spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian). Should the author chose to deliver his/her presentation in one of the languages spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian), he/she shall submit a copy of the presentation in English language, which will be simultaneously shown to the participants. 5. The participants are recommended to send their presentations to the Congress e-mail address by August 30, 2014 at the latest. Scientific Board reserves the right to decide whether the submitted paper will be presented orally or as a poster presentation. Authors who have applied with their papers shall receive the response of the Scientific Board by June 20, 2014 at the latest.
