“High Tech with a Human Touch”
Redstone Arsenal & Huntsville Site
Dear Colleague,
I would like to introduce you to Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) and its Huntsville, AL and
Redstone Arsenal, AL sites, if you’re not yet familiar with Florida Tech. Our university offers a variety of
Master’s degrees for those professionals who desire to
enhance their professional capabilities, but cannot afford
to interrupt their careers to pursue such education. For
those individuals, Florida Tech has the solution.
By offering its degree programs after-hours (i.e., 5:00 pm
to 8:00 pm weekdays), Florida Tech allows the working
professionals to pursue and to complete successfully the
degree programs of their choice (see enclosed one-page
flyer attachment for degree programs available).
Courses meet once per week for a 16-week semester (11 weeks in Summer; 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm). Our
staff (24+ adjunct faculty; 5 administrative personnel) are readily available to assist you. Almost all of the
programs may also be taken via on-line Distance
Learning, as desired (exception: M.B.A.). Registration
for Fall 2013 semester begins 24 Jun 2013 through
23 Aug 2013 with new classes beginning the week
of 19 Aug 2013.
Why Florida Tech?
See our “Accolades”
sheet on next page
Cost per course (3 semester hours) is $1680 and
financial aid is available (e.g., VA benefits [Yellow
Ribbon, Chapter 33, etc.] for qualified applicants. The degree programs are regionally accredited through
SACS and are licensed by the State of Alabama (via the State of Alabama Department of PostSecondary Education) to be taught in this state.
Since 1976 Florida Tech has been serving the Huntsville locale (including Redstone Arsenal) and has
awarded here over 4,000 degrees, to date. Florida Tech Huntsville is one of 10 sites maintained
throughout the Southeast by the main campus at Melbourne, FL. To find out more about Florida Tech,
please visit our website (www.fit.edu) or call one of our Resident Administrators (in Huntsville, phone:
256-971-9353) for more information. The current Florida Tech catalog is available at our website as an
Adobe (i.e., PDF) downloadable document. Other offerings (e.g., seminars, short courses, certification
programs, professional development programs) are also available; please call for specialized assistance.
Please feel free to forward, post, and/or circulate this information for the benefit of your
employees or colleagues, as desired. Thank you in advance for your every consideration. For any
further assistance, please call.
Respectfully,
Dr. Timothy J. White, Site Director
