Lotus M is the inconspicuous solution
for people with mild to moderate
hearing loss. The small Lotus Pro M
model can be ﬁtted with an especially
thin tube (LifeTube) for greater
comfort and discretion. Its stop-end
volume control is easy to use. It is also
available with directional microphones
that make it easier to hear in difﬁcult
listening situations.

calls more comfortable. The T-coil
prevents undesirable feedback

Connexx Quick – Fit Guide:
Lotus Pro
Step 1
Start in Noah
Connexx™ fitting software can be run in
stand-alone mode or under NOAH™.
It can be accessed from the fitting module
selection.
Double-click the Siemens icon to
start Connexx.
Step 2
Programming Lotus Pro
After opening your Connexx fitting
software, the Hearing Instruments
selection page is shown.
It is possible to manually select a hearing
instrument from the Family and/or
Name menu, also using the different filter
options, or to automatically detect and
read out a connected hearing instrument.
Clicking Detect Connected Instruments
will read out any connected instrument
and automatically display the model and
serial number.
If a hearing instrument is selected, the
individual Fitting Range helps to check
if it is appropriate for the patient’s hearing
loss.
Step 3
First Fit
The First Fit Navigator guides you through
the first fit process.
Proceed through the First Fit
Configurator by using the Next button.

Select the First Fit Approach, the desired
hearing instrument settings (number of
listening programs, VC range, fitting
strategy) under Fitting Method and set
the Acoustical Parameters.
Simply click Apply First Fit to confirm.
After First Fit, the Basic Tuning
screen is displayed.
Electro-acoustic veriﬁcation (i.e. real-ear or
coupler measurement) is required to make
sure that the calculated hearing instrument
settings perfectly match the selected target.
If necessary, respective changes can be
made in “Basic Tuning” or “Fine Tuning”.
All changes on the initial gain settings
should be veriﬁed and documented.
Step 4
Fitting/Fine Tuning
Connexx allows you to adjust the gain
of Lotus Pro in two channels by 3dB-steps
using the Frequency Shaping/Output
menu. It also contains three selectable
crossover frequencies to further optimize
the frequency response.
Low and high-cut controls can be used
to optimize sound quality. Handles for
compression (AGC-I) and output control
(AGC-O or PC) enable adjustment of
the loudness according to the wearer’s
individual needs and preferences.
The Mic/Extras menu can be used to select
anti-phase feedback cancellation, on/off
function via push-button and signal tones.
In addition it provides the possibility to
configure settings for T-coil and AudioT-coil-mode in the respective programs.
