What an epic start to Term 3! In just one week
we have had a school disco, a visit by Te
Whanau Kapahaka Roopu and had Tupua
Tigafua from the New Zealand Dance Company
come and talk with us about his life as a
dancer!
This term we are looking at the many reasons
people dance and we will be answering these
questions through designing and performing
dance pieces.
Some of our students will be working with
Auckland Art Gallery to create dance pieces that
interpret some of the amazing visual art pieces
at the gallery.
Tupua Tigafua danced into school to share some of
his amazingness with us! Fa'afetai tele lava!
Our DJ rocks the SPS hall
And the teachers led the way in the dancing!

A big thank you to all of the parents who
came along to our Hui on Thursday 31st
July. We really appreciated your input
into the new items we will be adding to
our uniform. We also really appreciated
the feedback you gave us about what
we do well, what we need to improve
and what else you would like to
see. We will all work on the suggestions
and will get back to you with the actions
we will be undertaking.
