Unlike his predecessors, Goodovitch understood the historic value of the buildings and the urban potential in their preservation and was active during his brief tenure in freezing the process of their demolition. Designer Gad Halperin - Studio Gad Architect Nir Mamon - Mamon Architects sad artists verging on architecture students Architect Prof. Ram Karmi – one of Israel's most prominent architects ever – has passed away at the age of 82. A charming man, winner of the Israel Prize for Architecture who, among other things, designed the Supreme Court (together with his sister Ada Karmi-Melamede) a teacher and theoretician who served as a model for thousands of architects in the country. His last project - the Habima Theater renovation - was unfairly criticized. Yet, after completion, despite the controversy, it received international praise. Immigrating to Israel from Brazil about three years ago, sculptor Ana Guitel Nigri has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Brazil, Italy and Israel, and is the recipient of numerous awards.
