Rigol Scopes Overview on Min/Max -Sample Rate and –Memory on analog Channels The following table give a quick overview about the maximum available sample rate and memory depth on all Rigol Oscilloscopes and the minimum sample rate and minimum memory depth per channel (all available channels active) Rigol Scope Series DS6xx2 DS6xx4 DS40x2 DS40x4 DS2xx2A Max. What is the main difference? Only one ADC and one memory is used for all channels. All other Rigol Scopes share one ADC and one memory between each bank (a bank consists of 2 Channels). A consequence of this is, each additionally activated channel changes Z-sample rate and memory. Activating the digital channels 0-7 will disable the analog CH. 4. Activating digital channels 8-15 will disable the analog Ch. 3. Please find below a table which shows the dependencies: Active Channels on Z-series MSO 1 analog Trigger Setting Trig. from this same channel Sample Rate 1GS/sec 1 analog Different chan. 500MS/sec digital channels 0-7 (or 8-15) One of these 1GS/sec 2 analog One of these 500MS/sec 1 analog + digital channels 0-7 (or 8-15) One of these 500MS/sec 2 analog Different chan. 250MS/sec 2 analog + digital channels 0-7 (or 8-15) One of these 250MS/sec 3 analog One of these 250MS/sec 3 analog Different chan. 250MS/sec 4 analog One of these 250MS/sec 3 analog + digital channels 0-7 (or 8-15) One of these 250MS/sec 2 analog + 16 digital One of these 250MS/sec Memory/Ch. 12Mpts (std) 24 Mpts (opt) 6Mpts (std) 12Mpts (opt) 12Mpts (std) 24 Mpts (opt) 6Mpts (std) 12Mpts (opt) 6Mpts (std) 12Mpts (opt) 3Mpts(std) 6Mpts(opt) 3Mpts(std) 6Mpts(opt) 3Mpts(std) 6Mpts(opt) 3Mpts(std) 6Mpts(opt) 3Mpts(std) 6Mpts(opt) 3Mpts(std) 6Mpts(opt) 3Mpts(std) 6Mpts(opt)
