Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for all financial reporting, budgeting and
forecasting.

Position:
ABC Frozen Foods Limited is a manufacturing division of 123
Plc, employing around 1,000 staff with a turnover of
approximately £80m. The product range is diverse,
specialising in ready meals.
Accountant
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller this position was
created with the launch of a new division set up in January
concentrating on servicing the needs of the 'own label' sector.
A finance function did not exist in this area previously, so the
emphasis was on building and developing the accounting
reporting systems.

• Month end accounting, including all journals, reconciliations,
production of the monthly pack and control of UK reported
profit
• Co-ordination of twice yearly budgets in conjunction with
sales, marketing and supply chain.
• Management of two clerical staff and supervision of a
graduate trainee.
• Production of customer and product profitability information,
i.e. relevant costs and revenue regarding product addition,
pricing and deletion.
