The BD VAC II provides unequivocal guarantees in implementing
any boot fitter philosophy when creating 3D footbeds. The controls
for the air extraction or air suction process are located on the front
of the device. The generous dimensions of the silicon pocket
guarantee optimum processing for any foot size.

Since customers were asking for a 2 pillow Vac to work on each
foot independent, BD offers now the 2 pillows BD VAC III.
The manually operated BD VAC III makes the location next to an
electric plug unnecessary.
Creating a foot imprint is even faster than our electrical Vac’s and
done with 4 - 5 quick pump movements. Air can be released and
the pillow hardness adjusted by opening the valve in front. A
Manometer shows the air pressure in the pillows.
The improved silicone is more durable and dissipates heat more
quickly.

This module presents itself in a new compact design and
can be equipped with analysis and fitting tools, in line with
customer requirements.
The foot analysis takes place with the fully integrated
podoscope (01-2300-074 - BD PODOSCOPE FOR FIT
MODULE). 3D footbeds can be fitted directly on the module
with an optional BD VAC and a sliding door on the side can
hold the optional BD 3D HEATER.
A height adjustable seat makes sure the sit position and leg
alignment is correct.
The design also takes the use of an optional foaming wedge
into consideration.

The new BD 3-Arch range allows a good choice of the right footbed type from the options LOW, MID and HIGH Arch. Customized fitting can be offered as an optional service. A comprehensive range of products and sizes ensures that a matching
footbed is available for every foot.
LOW ARCH
The arch is incapable of cushioning, thus reducing the spring in the wearer's step or running motion. Displacement of the bones involved (e.g., buckling of the ankle bone, heel bone) can cause strain on tendons and
ligaments. This leads to static unbalance.
The BD LOW-Arch footbed helps to prevent overpronation.
MID ARCH
The layout of the bones, tendons and ligaments reflects the theoretical norm. The pressure below the foot is
distributed over the 3 main support points: heel (20 %), big toe base joint (17 %), small toe base joint (13 %).
A BD MID-Arch footbed offers optimum pressure distribution for this type of foot, while stabilizing and
cushioning at the same time.
HIGH ARCH
The long-arch is too high, thus reducing the contact surface. Medial and lateral arches are typically caused by
shortening of the tendon structure or high muscle tension. These changes of the foot shape cause friction and
pressure points when wearing shoes. A stressed tendon structure is often found throughout the body
in this case.
A BD HIGH-Arch footbed ensures comfortable, even pressure distribution for this foot type.

How do compression stockings & socks work?
Even pressure across the lower leg, and the reduction of blood vessel cross-sections this causes, increase the flow rate in
the veins and improve the closing function of the venous valves. Special production technologies help to achieve a gradual
