Richard A. Stoffels is a sole legal practitioner in Saint Petersburg, where he specializes in the areas of elder law, estate planning, real estate, and charitable organizations. He has served as general counsel for the Presbytery of Tampa Bay since 2001. Stoffels has been practicing law since 1987, and he is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois, and is a member of the Florida Bar. He earned is B.S. in finance from Indiana University, his J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law, and his M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. In 1984 he graduated with a double major in Christian Education and Biblical Education with a minor in Pastoral Studies. Burkett began his insurance career in July of 1990 as a captive agent for Preferred Risk Insurance and developed a successful practice in Columbus GA before taking a position with Preferred Risk as a Sales Director. His responsibilities were to train, manage and direct the sales efforts of the captive agents in 3 different GA sales territories. Earl Left GuideOne Insurance in December 2006 to take on the responsibilities of agency president for The Harless Agency which he now owns. He has held the designation of a CIC, Certified Insurance Counselor, since 2002 and completes 20 hours of training each year to maintain the designation. Earl also completed the Cambridge University’s Certification for Risk Managers for Churches and Schools. He is a licensed minister in the Church of God and is very involved in the Plant City Church of God. Hebel is a Registered Fire Alarm and Burglar Alarms Systems Agent, and is IT and Network Certified. She is also a 5 X Presidents and Chairman’s Award Winner. Joseph, CCA is an ordained Assemblies of God minister, attorney and certified church business administrator. He is a graduate of Stetson University B.A. (1982) and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky, College of Law in (1986). John has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1986 and is admitted to practice in every state court in the State of Florida. Joseph is a Fellow in Church Business Administration with The National Association of Church Business Administration since (1998). He also holds a Cambridge Certificate in Risk Management for Churches and Schools from Cambridge University, England (2000). John was the inaugural recipient of the Golden Hammer Award, presented by Mr. Richard Hammer, J.D. CPA, "Honoring Those Who Have Exhibited A Mastery of Church Law and Administration." He was appointed by General Superintendent Rev. Thomas Trask to be the first President of the Assemblies of God Church Business Administration Association and served two consecutive terms. John is also an active both in church and legal realms as a speaker, author, and adjunct professor ‐‐ contributing various gifts on the local, regional and national levels. He has received the distinctive honor to have been appointed for three consecutive terms as a member of the Florida Bar Public Service Pre‐Paid Legal Services Committee and currently serves as Chairman through appointment by the President of the Florida Bar 2010‐2012.
