Model 5398-21 Gas Sample Draw Panel The Single Channel, Gas Sample Draw Panel (539821) provides an easy to use method of drawing an air sample from a remote or hostile area to a more convenient location for analysis. The Sample Draw Panel can use IT Series gas sensor modules for Combustible or Toxic gases. This gas sampling system uses a fast coop and bypass type sampling method. An integral sample pump draws the sample at a high flow rate to reduce sample time lag. The sample is delivered to the sensor up-stream from the pump to avoid negative pressure conditions. The flow systems design will deliver the sample to the sensor with minimal pressure affecting the sensor as the excess flow and pressure are bled off via the bypass flowmeter. Each panel is a selfcontained system with the pump, flow indication, valves to control sample draw and calibration gas delivery, and the gas detection sensor and transmitter (priced separately) all housed in the enclosure. The Sample Draw Panels are intended for installation in an indoor area, which is accessible, by the user for periodic routine inspection and calibration. The panel requires 120 VAC input and provides local visual as well as remote indication of pump and flow status.
