Since then, the phenomenon of Internet addiction has been studied in various countries. The aim of the present study is to investigate the identity style, loneliness, fears of intimacy and Internet addiction in students. The present descriptive-analytic correlation study consisted of 300 students (150 female and 150 male) who had been selected by cluster sampling method from among all the students studying in Urmia Islamic Azad University. Four tools of Identity Styles questionnaire (ISI), Loneliness Scale (UCLA), fear of intimacy questionnaire, and Internet Addiction Test (IAT) were used for data gathering. The gathered data were analyzed by SPSS-20 and descriptive statistic indexes, Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, T-test, Pearson Correlation and Regression. Results showed a significant correlation between identity styles (informational, normative commitment), feelings of loneliness, fear of intimacy and internet addiction. The results of regression analysis indicated that the identity styles (informational, normative commitment), feelings of loneliness and fear of intimacy were able to predict %51 of the variance of Internet addiction. Finally, the findings of this study indicated that the identity styles (informational, normative), loneliness and fear of intimacy could very well predict the Internet addiction. Identity styles, loneliness, and fear of intimacy can be considered as risk factors of Internet addiction and these factors can significantly reduce the risk of Internet addiction and are effective in the treatment strategies. The method of this study was casual-comparative. The sample of this study consisted of 100 male prisoners of Meshkinshahr city and 100 individuals who had no criminal record and were matched in terms of demographic variables such as age, sex, educational level, and marital status with the criminal group. Two questionnaires of Mouse & Belings coping stress (1981) and attachment styles of Hazan & Shaiver (1987) were used in order to collect the required data. Then data were analyzed by software SPSS 20 using multivariate variance analysis (MANOVA). The results showed that there is a significant difference between attachment styles and coping strategies of criminals and normal group (p<.05). Therefore, criminals have more insecure attachment styles (avoidant and ambivalent) and their coping strategies are more emotion-focused, avoidance and inefficient. Furthermore, the results showed that individuals with insecure attachments (avoidant and ambivalent) have less adaptation ability. In addition, using these non-adaptive strategies makes it difficult to cope with stressful circumstances and it causes improper consistency and problem solving, and will ultimately lead to crime. Empowerment is one of the most effective techniques to improve the performance and optimal use of capacities in the fields of organizational goals. On the other hand, organizational pathology is a powerful new tools to improve and develop the comprehensive understanding of the pathology of which aims to identify the causes and to help organizations plan to solve them. The idea of using empowerment theory for the role of professional school‟s counselors and providing a comprehensive and multi-cultural planning for school‟s counselors indicate to the hope toward providing better services to students. the present research has been conducted with the aim of explaining the importance and necessity of establishing a native model of performance improvement for counselor based on pathology of counseling activities in schools and counselors‟ empowerment. first we have studied and compared the current status and the desirable statues of counseling activities in schools. Considering the difference between these two statuses, we have then tried to identify the variables effective on the existing gap and also determine the level of effect of each of these variables. the results of z-test indicate that there is a difference between the current and desired status of counseling activities in schools. The results of Friedman‟s test regarding different types of damanges and the results of chi-square test for analysis of the variables of these damanges and also the results of regression test for determining the level of the effect of these damages on counseling activities indicate that the current status of counseling activities in schools has rather an undesirable status and the hisghest gap is related to the interpersonal dimension. the conclusion is that for fixing counseling activities damages (specially interpersonal damages), improving the counselors‟ performance in schools and achieving the desired status of counseling activities in schools, the necessity of establishing a native model of performance improvement of the counselors in schools based on pathology has been considered and then counselors‟ empowerment has been explained. According to Existentialism, death alongside with man‟s undeniable freedom and the meaninglessness of the world is a part of existence. Existential philosophers and psychologists have always been preoccupied with death anxiety. Kierkegaard defines anxiety or apprehension as fright of “inexistence” and believes that sickness and despair are due to the very understanding of the danger of inexistence (Kierkegaard, 1849, translated by Monajem, 1377). Tilich also held the view that neurosis is in fact a way of avoiding inexistence through avoiding existence (Tilich, 1953, translated by Farhadpour, 1388). May (1963, translated by Soraya, 1389). The Existential psychologist showed that man is inclined to turn the “fear of anything” to “fear of something” so that he can fight it. Heidger (1962, translated by Jamadi, 1389), another existential philosopher, proclaimed that death is the most original and significant private moment and the individual is to face it alone. The present study thus aims to investigate the difference of disciplined and undisciplined students on the basis of six familial factors and five scholastic factors. While the familial factors entail problem solving, communication, role-playing, emotional response, emotional integration, and restraint, the scholastic factors are relatedness of self with school, belonging peers, peer acceptance, participation in community, academic engagement, teacher support, fairness & safety. The study sample, including 380 individuals, was selected among Tabriz high school students using purposive and multi-stage cluster sampling method. To identify and differentiate disciplined and undisciplined students, this research, made use of students‟ discipline score and also applied schools‟ authorities viewpoint. Family function questionnaire and students‟ sense of connectedness with school questionnaire came to our help to collect data. The data were then analyzed using MANOVA test and discriminant analysis. The result of MANOVA test demonstrated a significant difference between the two groups in terms of the combined scores of the aforesaid factors. The result of discriminant function indicated that the disciplined and undisciplined students sharply contrasted their counterparts in terms of academic commitment, emotional integration, fairness and security. The result of discriminant function was also of help to recategorize almost the 70 percent of the participants and to fairly classify them into the two mentioned groups. Finally, the findings of the research emphasize on the application of familial and scholastic variables by education officials, helping them to raise self-disciplined students against impulsive and disruptive behaviors. Then 60 subjects formed 30 pairs after pair matching based on demographic features like as age, education and so on, 15 pairs of these pairs are selected who were satisfied for cooperate in investigation. Each patient in these pairs was randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. Two groups passed questionnaires and then a combined independent variable (religious instructions and muscular relaxation) was administrated for experimental group in 10 sessions that each session lasted 60-90 minutes twice a week for 5 weeks. Post-test was administered at the end of sessions by experimental and control groups. Multivariable analysis of covariance showed that religious instructions and muscular relaxation increased the distress tolerance (η2=0.72) and decreased the perceived stress (η 2=0.55) in parents of exceptional children (p<0.05). ا.ف.210]: Comma after Comment [ن.ا.ف.211]: to Comment [ن.ا.ف.212]: to the Comment [ن.ا.ف.213]: filled out the Comment [ن.ا.ف.214]: the Keywords: religious instructions, muscular relaxation, perceived stress, distress tolerance, parents of exceptional Children. Introduction Stress comes from many different sources and factors, which one of them is, disable child birth. Children who are physically or mentally disable, impose the special psychological stress on family (Chen &Tang, 1997; Fischer & Roberts, 2001). Mentally retarded child birth, could profoundly affect family relationships and actions, such as disaster. Children disability, growth slowly, few services, special management for health care, training whit companionship needs, frustrations and dreams gone with the wind, all cause pressure and disrupts the family tranquility and balance (Robinson & Robinson, 1990). Alborzee and Bashash (1995) believe that having disable child can affect mental health of family and beyond these distress and psychological problems sometime cause family contacts. In most cases, children become dependent on family because of some emotional reactions, special behaviors and specific economic issues (Ross, 1972). The present research aims to investigate the effect of role-playing method of teaching on social studies students' quality of life in school, achievement motivation and academic achievement. This quasi-experimental study was conducted on 50 sixth-grade elementary male students who were selected through random cluster sampling from public schools of Khash. Pretest-posttest design was used with control group and students were divided randomly into experimental and control groups (25 participants in each group). Research tools included questionnaires of quality of life, achievement motivation, and academic achievement test. The statistical software SPSS version 15 was used to analyze the data through independent-t test and covariance analysis. According to the results, there is a significant difference between the two groups as to the average score of school life quality in general and in different dimensions (except negative emotions) after intervention. Moreover, average score of risk taking as a factor in achievement motivation and academic achievement show a significant difference in both groups after intervention. In general, it was found that role-playing method of teaching has a significant positive influence on quality of life in school, achievement motivation, and academic achievement. ا.ف.249]: Capital not lower Keywords: role-playing method of teaching, quality of life, achievement motivation, academic achievement. Introduction One of the educational system efficiency criteria is students‟ academic achievement. Exploring and studying affective variables in this variable lead to better understanding and prediction of affective factors in school. Therefore, verifying variables related to academic achievement is one of the basic research subjects in educational system (Farahani, 1994; quoted in Baghani & Dehghani Neishabouri, 2012). Motivational factors are among affective factors in academic achievement and academic motivation refers to individual‟s tendency to achieve educational goals by influencing different types of educational activities. This construct is met through achieving awareness about how individual‟s cognitive-motivational processes effect on activities which are important for him/her (Baghani & Dehghani Neishabouri, 2012). Motivation is a three dimensional phenomenon in educational field which includes personal beliefs about the ability to perform a given activity, individual‟s reasons or goals for doing a given activity, individual‟s reasons or goals to perform that activity and emotional reaction related to that activity (Yusefi et al., 2009 quoted in Baghani & Dehghani Neishabouri, 2012). Researchers have also found that students‟ life quality in school is related to their stay in school, their attitude about going to school, educational success, academic achievement levels, accepting responsibility and commitment about school‟s assignments, and expressing abnormal behaviors in school (Bourke & Smith, 1989). Other researchers also refer to relationship among life quality in school with a sense of attachment in school, more participation in school‟s assignments and duties, more intimate and better relationships among student 47 Comment [ن.ا.ف.250]: ?!!? with teacher and other peers, and optimized physical and mental health. Role-playing method enables students to better understand social behaviors as well as their role in social interactions and makes them familiar with more effective ways of problem solving. This method helps students to gather and organize information about social issues such as cooperation and collaboration, and provides them with necessary social skills. Thus, in social science program which is the focus of current research, it could be predicted that this method of teaching may be helpful in improving the learners' motivation, achievement and quality of lie at school. In this respect, researchers such as Engel (1971) believe that role-play method or simulation techniques and role play, not only are applicable in humanities, social & history sciences but also in medical science where teachers can play patient‟s roles. 48 Predicting the adolescents‟ social adjustment based on their attachment styles with parents among the first and second grade high schools students پذیزش تزجمه ی:] 251.ف.ا. The research method is descriptivecorrelative and its research population consists of all managers of educational and non-educational groups of University of Sistan and Baluchestan totaling 89 people. Since the sampling method applied was census, the entire research population (n = 89) was investigated. The research tools consisted of two questionnaires: 14-item questionnaire of forgetting designed by the researcher on Likert's 5-option scale adapted from the review of literature (Holan and Phillips 2004) and the 12-item questionnaire of change on Likert's 5-option scale adapted from Pezeshk's thesis (2010) with some changes. The validity of the questionnaires in terms of content and reliability was estimated by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. For statistical data analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics including the Pearson correlation coefficient test and regression test were used. The results of Pearson correlation coefficient indicated that there was a significant positive correlation between organizational forgetting and its aspect and organizational change and its components, except for the location component (workplace) which has no significant correlation. Also, the results of regression analysis showed that organizational forgetting has had the highest prediction of organizational change and also, among the variables of change, the organizational forgetting had the highest prediction of individuals' knowledge, organizational structure, technology, and place respectively. There is a positive and significant correlation between organizational forgetting and its aspects and organizational changes and its components. Autism spectrum disorders comprise a complex set of related developmental disorders that are characterized by impairments in communication, repetitive behaviors and sensory processing. Sensory over-responsivity can negatively affect developmental and functional abilities in behavioral, emotional, motoric, and cognitive domains. The research method is descriptive. The sample included 38 children with autism disorder who were assigned with convenience sampling. Their parents filled out sensory over-responsivity questionnaire and Vineland Social Maturity Scale. Data were analyzed with correlation coefficient and regression analysis. Correlation results indicate that there is a significant relationship between sensory over- responsivity and social maturity (R≤ -.46, P= .01). Regression analysis also showed that tactile and movement subtypes of over responsivity can predict social maturity (p< .05). The results from this study suggest that early sensory interventions can have positive effects on social maturity symptoms, so early sensory intervention could be effective in the treatment of some symptoms of autism. ِ(پاساگشاف بٌذی ّا ٍ جذاٍل) بش اساس فشهت ًطشی .تٌظین ضًَذ با تشکز Keywords: autism, sensory over-responsivity, social maturity Introduction Autism is characterized by impairments in three main areas of development: social interaction, communication skills, and the presence of stereotyped behavior, interests and activities (American Psychiatric Association (2000), Szatmari, P. 2000). One of the most important features of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is individual's degree of social development. So he made them fall, through deception. And when they tasted of the tree, their private parts became apparent to them, and they began to fasten together over themselves from the leaves of Paradise. And their Lord called to them, "Did I not forbid you from that tree and tell you that Satan is to you a clear enemy?" (Al-Araf:22). Veil is the main and undeniable issue in Islam that relates to the Muslims beliefs. Nowadays, it has been converted to a political issue and the political leaders have found it as barrier to their success, so they knew that the only way to attack on the Islamic countries is propagation of improper dressing. 61 Comment [ن.ا.ف.323]: Dates back Comment [ن.ا.ف.324]: The fruit of the tree Comment [ن.ا.ف.325]: To fasten the leaves of the trees grown in the paradise to themselves Comment [ن.ا.ف.326]: Is a clear enemy to you Comment [ن.ا.ف.327]: That is related to the Muslims’ beliefs A comparative study of social support, adjustment and self-efficacy among the students with high and low academic performance 1 2 Mohammad Reza Tamannaeifar , Hakimeh Leis , Azam Mansourinik* 3 پذیزش تزجمه ی:]328.ف.ا. The aim of this study was to compare the evolution of empathy in 5 to 11 years old children with internalizing disorders. The study method was descriptive, causal-comparative. The statistical population of study included all 5-11 years old children of Tabriz city, to this end, 150 preschool and school boys and girls aged 5-11 years old of Tabriz city were selected with simple random sampling from five different departments of Education. Thus, five age groups including 5 years old, 6 years old, 7 years old, 9 years old and 11 years old were selected that each group included 30 patients (15 girls and 15 boys). Children Symptom Inventory (CSI) and empathy scales were used as data collection tools. ANOVA and Tukey test were used for statistical analysis. Study results showed that 5-11 years old children are different in terms of empathy evolution. Tukey test showed that the difference is between two age groups of 5 and 6 years old and 7, 9 and 11 years old and also, between age groups of 7 and 9 years old and 11 years old. Meanwhile, 5-11 years old children have significant differences with each other in internal disorders. Tukey test results showed that the difference is between two age groups of 5 and 6 years old and 7, 9 and 11 years old and also, between age groups of 7 and 9 years old and 11 years old.
