- In the period from 2004 to 2007 along with Prof. Alenka Krašovec he published expert articles in
Jahrbuch der Europäischen Integration (Baden-Baden: Nomos) about Slovenian membership in the
European Union.
- Since 2008 he has been preparing expert reports for international organization Freedom House
Europe (in the framework of the project Nations in Transit) about democratic performance in Slovenia.
- Together with Prof. Danica Fink Hafner he analysed the Slovenian Presidency to the Council of the
European Union in the first half of 2008; the expert report was published in a special publication of
SIEPS – Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies.
