Operation
1) Insert the cutter head fully into the cylinder cutter-receiving hole and fix it with the butterfly screw.
2) Put the cushion paper on the table then place the sample sheet on it.
3) Push down the lever with proper force to the lower stroke limit.

What is the Super Dumbbell® ?
We have had developed an ideal blade for cutting test piece of a high polymer, such as rubber, plastic and so on, for long time, and
finally invented the replaceable blade cutter system that is patented. It is entirely different system from the conventional forging type
die. When a cutting edge might be worn or be damaged you can replace that damaged edge by a new sharp blade instantly.
The most remarkable merit of the Super Dumbbell® is its excellent cutting performance that is realized by strict manufacturing
quality control. Thanks to special grinding method, it can minimize undesirable effects, such as crack and burr that may happen
quite often with the cut test piece.
The Super Dumbbell® has a spring type ejecting device that ejects a cut test piece instantly with ease.
Furthermore this device, called “Knock Out Device”, sticks out a little bit from the edge of blade usually,
which prevents to touch the edge accidentally making sure safety work.
If you use the Super Dumbbell® you can get accurate, reliable and steady test result from the cut test piece.
Therefore we have been receiving a lot of good reputation from many customers all over the world including Japan.

Tensile testing represents the most
common type of test for materials and
products. Characterizing and reporting
tensile test properties is a basic need in
most labs. We offer a complete range of
specimen cutters with an automatic spring
removal mechanism. This knock-out
system increases the safety while using the
cutter and a more uniform sample. These
cutters address all laboratory
considerations; test speed, control mode,
ultimate load and test displacement. For
optimum results with our "Super
Dumbbell" we recommend cutting soft
materials up to 3mm in thickness.
