Service rates will not be increased as a result of this annexation. Eagle Point and Central Point annexed into RVS in 1998 and 2000 with over 85% voter approval, so that their citizens would continue receiving sewer service and participate in RVS elections. Annexation gives Jacksonville residents representation in RVS decision making. Jacksonville City Council and RVS Board of Directors adopted resolutions supporting this annexation.
