Swimming pool spotlights 4.0282 and 4.0281
The flagship of swimming pool spotlights
In the 4.0282 and 4.0281 spotlights, WIBRE is setting new standards in the field of efficient pool illumination.
The spotlight is suitable for medium-sized and large pools (up to approx. 25 x 15 m), and can be used in fresh water, chlorinated water and sea water. The whole spotlight is made from V4A stainless steel, with additional polishing and equipment with
POW LEDs (24 x 3 W) in various shades of white, blue, or with 15 Multichip POW-LEDs, RGB 45 x 3.
Cold white can create over 5,520 Lumen, meaning it has an equivalent light output for halogen bulbs of up to 400 W. The new
design of the spotlight means that it can be used easily as a replacement for existing halogen spotlights. The existing cable
can be connected in a water-tight manner, without opening the spotlight.
New installation in concrete pools with tiling
The 4.0282, in conjunction with the 4.0282.01.00, can be installed in concrete pools
with tiling. The housing is made of V4A stainless steel with 1.5 m protective cable tube
and M20 plastic terminating connection.
New installation in thin-wall pools and pools with plastic lining
When combined with the 4.0282.02.00 installation housing, the 4.0282 can be installed in
thin-wall pools and pools with plastic lining. The housing is made of V4A stainless steel with 1.5
m protective cable tube, a M20 plastic terminating connection and a ø 244 mm pressure flange.
New installation in pools with an adhesive or foil coating
The 4.0282, in conjunction with the 4.0282.03.00, can be installed in pools with an
adhesive or foil coating. The housing is made of V4A stainless steel with 1.5 m protective
cable tube, a M20 plastic terminating connection and a ø 350 mm adhesive flange.
New installation in stainless steel pools
The 4.0282, in conjunction with the 4.0282.04.00, can be installed (welded) in stainless
steel pools. The housing is made of V4A stainless steel with 1.5 m protective cable tube
and M20 plastic terminating connection.
Retrofit installation for installation housing 4.0274/4.0268
4.0281 for installation in existing 4.0274 or 4.0268 installation housings. It can be
used in any standard pool type (concrete, thin-wall, stainless steel, etc.).
The spotlight has a 13 mm high panel and is supplied without cables.
Reinstallation for the installation housing 4.0274.75 (flush installation)
The 4.0281 can be used in the existing 4.0274.75 installation housing. It can be
used in any standard pool type (concrete, thin-wall, stainless steel, etc.).
The spotlight has a flat panel and is supplied without cables.

Product Update
Less power consumption – same output!
Marassi Beach Hotel, Egypt
The Recessed Underwater-Light 4.0012 and the Surface-mounted Underwater-Light 4.0011.15 have been updated. For the monochrome colours (white, blue, etc) stronger POW-LEDs with new CREE XP-G technology with only 350mA will be used. Therefore the
spotlights will have a power input of 1 Watt instead of 3 Watt as before. This means 66% saving of electricity consumption.
The light effect and the light output remain the same. These are currently 140 lumen per spotlight for cold white (6000°K),
110 lumen for warm white (3000°K) and 125 lumen for neutral white (4500°K). This is an optimal light output for accentuating
swimming pools, whirl pools, water displays and fountains.

Lights in Alingsås: Workshop in Sweden
We're taking part again
Just like last year, we'll be attending "Lights in Alinsås" again.
The lighting workshop in southern Sweden, in which lighting
planners from all over the world illuminate parts of the town,
has taken place each October since 2000. Each year, this
event draws thousands of excited spectators, architects and
planners to Alingsås.
WIBRE will again be participating as an equipment sponsor of a lighting installation. The light
designer Brendan Keely from the United Kingdom is using our
4.0072 surface-mounted underwater spotlight.
3 x 3 W POW-LED RGB will be used as light sources.
