Ambush iS Walkaround Script
(Begin at rear of vehicle)
Bad Boy Buggies is pleased to introduce the new Ambush iS from the Sports Series! Offering the silence
of electric and range of gas, the versatile Ambush iS is the ultimate outdoor vehicle.
Let’s take a moment to get acquainted with how the Ambush iS offers the muscle, range and versatility
to dominate the trail.
The Ambush iS comes standard as a two-passenger model featuring a 9.6-cubic-foot rotomolded cargo
bed for hauling capabilities. For larger hunting parties, an available four-passenger model has a rear
bench seat. The Ambush iS can tow 1200 pounds from its two-inch rear hitch receiver.
The most distinctive feature of the Ambush iS is the dual powertrain—which offers both gas and electric
power. The Ambush iS has a 28-horsepower, 720cc fuel-injected Subaru engine and 48-volt AC electric
drivetrain located at the front of the vehicle, so the user has both the range of gas and silence of
electric.
The Ambush iS features six 8-volt batteries; 4 batteries located under the vehicle’s seat and 2 batteries
located at the front of the vehicle with a hood cover for easy access. This results in better weight
distribution to the front of the vehicle and better traction on front wheel drive.
Another distinctive feature is the regen mode which recharges the vehicle’s batteries on the fly
providing significantly more electrical range. Low and high regen modes use the Ambush iS’s gas engine
to recharge while driving.
The Ambush iS 4x4 features three unique modes of operation: two-wheel-drive gas, two-wheel-drive
electric and four-wheel-drive with both gas and electric powertrains engaged. While the user is in fourwheel-drive operation, both powertrains work together to provide a combined 45.2 horsepower.
Four-wheel independent suspension and sway bar keep the ride smooth, and the vehicle under your
control. The Ambush iS also features rack and pinion steering which offers agile response with every
turn.
The Ambush iS features locking front and rear differentials direct that horsepower to all wheels for a
superior grip on the trail.
(Move to front of vehicle)
As we move to the front of the vehicle, you’ll notice the dash mounted control panel located inside the
cab. Designed for simple operation, the control panel has upgraded features such as the push-button
start (for gas mode) which eliminates the pedal start.
Also on the control panel is the regen switch, allowing the user to select “low,” “high,” or “OFF” modes
of resistance which in turn charges the batteries while driving in gas.
5
The dash mounted indicator light board provides fault codes for trouble shooting or when you ask the
vehicle to do something that it is programmed not to do.
A standard rollover-protection system, side safety nets and three-point seatbelts keep vehicle occupants
safe.
Other standard features include an aggressive brush guard, halogen headlights to get you there without
a scratch, bench seats make the journey comfortable, and aggressive 25” trail tires to handle any terrain
The Ambush iS automotive-quality cowl and body ensures a long lasting finish and that is resistant to the
bumps and scratches encountered on the trail.
(Point out non-standard options/accessories)
The Ambush iS can be easily accessorized with many after-market options to optimize your outdoor
vehicle for the trail or hunt.
The 1 ¾” tubular standard rollover-protection system serves not only as an important safety feature but
also as an attachment platform for common aftermarket parts. To customize your buggy, Bad Boy
Buggies is proud to offer premium quality accessories from companies such as Warn, Kolpin and Rigid
including winches, LED headlights, gun racks and boots, accessory racks, top kits, and more.

Bad Boy Buggies® Ambush® iS Eliminates Compromise in Hunting UTVs
New Generation of 4x4 Hybrid Offers Upgraded Powertrains and Ability to Recharge
Batteries in the Field
AUGUSTA, GA — Hunters no longer have to choose between range, power and silence in a
utility vehicle, with the introduction of the new 2014 Ambush® iS 4x4 hybrid from Bad Boy
Buggies®. With the flexibility to switch between independent gas and electric powertrains, the
utility of Regen Mode™ to recharge the vehicle’s batteries on the fly, and the ability to engage
both powertrains at once for 4WD power, the Ambush iS provides the range and off-road
performance you need -- and silence when you need it most.
Like all Bad Boy Buggies vehicles, the Ambush iS
is manufactured by E-Z-GO, a division of Textron
Inc.
The Ambush iS has three distinct operating
modes: rear-wheel-drive 2WD gas, front-wheeldrive 2WD electric, and 4WD with both gas and
electric powertrains engaged. Operators can
shift between the three modes using simple
controls within easy reach on the vehicle’s
dashboard. A proprietary onboard computer
coordinates the operation of the Ambush’s dual
powertrains, ensuring that the gas and electric systems work together for maximum power and
efficiency.
The Ambush iS offers a 28-horsepower, 720cc fuel-injected Subaru® engine, offering 75 percent
more horsepower than the previous Ambush model. To maximize performance when the
Ambush iS operates in electric mode, the vehicle’s 48-volt electric drivetrain has been upgraded
with AC Drive technology, offering longer range and greater, more sustained performance
between charges than traditional DC-powered drivetrains.
With the Ambush iS’ new, exclusive Regen Mode™, hunters can ensure that they have silent
electric power when they need it, by recharging the vehicle’s batteries on the fly while the
Ambush iS operates under gas power. In Regen Mode, the Ambush iS’ AC electric motor
becomes a generator, transferring energy generated by the revolution of the vehicle’s front axle
back into the vehicle’s batteries. With Regen Mode set to high, the amount of energy sent back
into the batteries can even exceed that of recharging the vehicle using a traditional battery
charger.
“The Ambush has changed how people think about hunting UTVs, and the enhanced power,
range and flexibility of our new Ambush iS model once again proves that this Bad Boy is the
ultimate hunting machine,” said Eric Bondy, Vice President, Consumer for Bad Boy Buggies.
8
“We’ve worked hard to develop a vehicle that requires no compromise between the silent
operation needed to stalk the day’s trophy kill, and the power, range and performance
necessary to navigate the toughest conditions and longest days in the field.”
The Ambush iS offers four-wheel independent suspension and a sway bar to keep the ride
smooth, and the vehicle under your control. When additional traction is needed, locking front
and rear differentials direct the vehicle’s power to the wheels that need it most, powering the
vehicle through the toughest terrain. The Ambush iS also features four-wheel hydraulic disc
brakes and rack-and-pinion steering for optimal control and stopping power on narrow trails
and in difficult conditions.
The Ambush iS features six 8-volt batteries, with four batteries under its seat and two additional
batteries under the vehicle’s hood. The new battery configuration is optimized to provide better
weight distribution on the front of the vehicle, resulting in better traction in front wheel drive
operation.
Safety features such as an occupant protective structure (OPS), three-point seat belts and side
safety nets are standard on the Ambush iS.
To accommodate the needs of any hunting party, the Ambush iS will be available in a twopassenger model with a 9.6-cubic-foot cargo bed, or a four-passenger model with a rear-facing
back seat. The Ambush iS is available in matte black, matte green, flame red, Realtree® Max-4™
camouflage, or in Realtree’s newest camouflage pattern, Realtree® Xtra™.
The Ambush iS will be available in September 2013 from Bad Boy Buggies Authorized Dealers. To

With names like Harvick, Kinser, and Stewart, it doesn’t take long to figure out that Bad Boy Buggies
takes racing as serious as it does manufacturing top-quality off-road machines. Not only are these racers
some of the best in the industry, many are also passionate about hunting. Whether they’re behind the
wheel of a cup car or a Recoil iS, it’s likely they won’t back down until they come home with a trophy.
Kevin Harvick - kevinharvick.com
Kevin Harvick’s racing career started simply enough with a gift he received from his parents for his
kindergarten graduation – a go-kart. The California-native hasn’t slowed down since and has built an
impressive resume that includes 72 wins in NASCAR’s top-three divisions as he enters the 2013 season
driving the No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet. This year also marks Kevin’s 15th season in the NASCAR
Nationwide Series with 290 starts, 39 wins, 24 poles, 151 top-five and 211 top-10 finishes. When he’s
not at the wheel, fulfilling appearance requests or sponsor obligations, Harvick enjoys spending time
with his wife and son, their pets, family and friends. In his spare time, he can be found golfing and
hunting.
Bad Boy Buggies is proud to be a primary sponsor of Harvick’s No. 33 Nationwide Series car at Atlanta
Motor Speedway on August 31 and Phoenix International Raceway on November 9. We are also the
primary sponsor for Harvick’s No. 29 Sprint Cup car at Kansas Speedway on April 21.
Steve Kinser - stevekinser.com
Icon. Champion. Winner. Motivator. Fierce competitor. Friend. Family man. Being characterized by any
one of those descriptions would make most people proud, but to be defined by all of them would
certainly result in royalty status. That’s precisely the altitude from which Steve Kinser presides. Kinser is
a legend in motorsports. Tabbed “The King of the Outlaws,” 20-time World of Outlaws (WoO) champion
Kinser has been described as the best driver ever on dirt ovals. His results back up those claims, with
more than 800 career victories during his illustrious career. High praise for a man who started out as a
Southern Indiana boy simply wanting to follow in his father’s footsteps as a racer. His dream became
reality. Today, 35 seasons after competing in the first-ever WoO race in 1978, Kinser, 58, still intimidates
the competition he battles on dirt tracks across the country. The same man still thrills the hundreds of
thousands of fans who come to see him perform magic.
Bad Boy Buggies is proud to be a primary sponsor for Steve Kinser’s No. 11 winged sprint car. Bad Boy
Buggies has also partnered with Steve Kinser Racing (SKR) and 2005 Knoxville Nationals champion Kraig
Kinser for the 2013 Knoxville Nationals and DIRTcar World Finals events.

Donnie Schatz - donnyschatzmotorsports.com
Schatz, a resident of Fargo, ND, started his racing career at the age of 11 competing in go-karts. After
four years of competition, Schatz followed his father’s footsteps and jumped into a sprint car at the age
of 15. He spent three years racing regionally before joining the sport’s premiere series, the World of
Outlaws, at age 18. He earned the coveted WoO rookie of the year in 1997 and continued climbing the
standings each season. In 2000, he started winning some of sprint car racing’s biggest races, and by
2003, he was established as one of the best Outlaws with his success on American dirt tracks and
Australian soil as well. Schatz, a resident of Fargo, ND, started his racing career at the age of 11

No. 15, Donny began a new stage in his career in February 2008 by driving for NASCAR star Tony
Stewart.

Tony Stewart - tonystewart.com
Throughout his racing career, Tony Stewart has proven victorious. A hint of Stewart’s impending success
could be seen when he was still a youngster, for in 1980 at age eight, Stewart had won his first
championship – a 4-cycle rookie junior class championship at the Columbus Fairgrounds. Two more
karting championships followed, but this time on a national level – the 1983 International Karting
Federation Grand National championship and the 1987 World Karting Association National
championship. Currently the driver of the No. 14 Bass Pro Shops / Mobil 1 Chevrolet in the NASCAR
Sprint Cup Series, Tony has scored 12 championships since he first wheeled a go-kart in 1978 at a
Westport, Ind., racetrack. His most widely known titles are the three he scored in NASCAR’s pinnacle
series. The three-time Sprint Cup Series champion earned his first crown in 2002 by beating veteran
racer Mark Martin by 38 points and a second in 2005 when he bested Greg Biffle by 35 points. His third
title was earned in 2011 after winning the season finale at Homestead Speedway to edge Carl Edwards
on a tiebreaker (most wins). It was the first championship for a driver/owner since 1992 when Alan
Kulwicki accomplished the feat.
Tony Stewart also has a long and successful history as a team owner—with his one of his most
prominent achievements in November 2000, when Stewart formed Tony Stewart Racing (TSR). And what
began as a single World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series team is now a powerful six-team entry with
strong footholds in the WoO and USAC. Operating out of state-of-the-art 25,000-square foot facility in
Brownsburg, Ind., TSR fields three USAC teams, two WoO teams and a winged sprint car for Stewart to
pilot when his schedule allows.

Jamie McMurray – jamiemcmurray.com
McMurray’s racing career began when he started go-kart racing at the age of eight in his hometown of
Joplin, MO. Jamie McMurray exploded onto the NASCAR scene when, in 2002, he scored a win in his
second-career Sprint Cup Series start while substituting for the injured Sterling Marlin. Working his way
up through the NASCAR Truck Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series before signing with Chip
Ganassi Racing, he ran his first full season of Sprint Cup Series action in 2003 en route to being named
the series’ Rookie of the Year. He joined Roush-Fenway Racing in 2006 and established himself as one of
the top drivers in the Ford Racing stable, scoring two of his biggest career Sprint Cup wins at the famous
superspeedways of Daytona and Talladega. For 2010, Jamie returned to race for Ganassi at EarnhardtGanassi Racing and continued his winning ways in his first race at the Daytona 500 and later took the
prestigious Brickyard 400 for a sweep of NASCAR’s two biggest events of the season. Away from the
track, McMurray enjoys fishing – a sport he has enjoyed since he began fishing as child. Even when not
racing in the NSCS, McMurray competes in go-kart races, keeping up his competitive drive and physical
stamina.
Bad Boy Buggies is proud to be a primary sponsor of McMurray’s No. 1 Sprint Cup car at Charlotte Motor
Speedway on May 26, Atlanta Motor Speedway on September 1 and Richmond International Raceway on
September 7.

NHRA - nhra.com
When Wally Parks founded the NHRA in 1951, he worked to get racing off the city streets and highways
and into safer, organized venues. He wanted NHRA to provide guidance to timing clubs and tracks. Soon,
NHRA was hosting national events, as tuning cars became a hobby rather than just a necessity. While
the grassroots racing organization has come a long way in 60 years of operation, there are some things
that will never change. NHRA fans continue to have the best access to the behind-the-scenes action of
racing. Fans are privy to an up-close and personal view of teams rebuilding engines in less than 75
12
minutes between elimination rounds. Drivers are often found in their pit areas, signing autographs and
chatting with fans. That is just one reason why NHRA fans continue to be some of the most loyal of any
sport. NHRA is all about diversity. With more than 20 categories of competition, including Top Fuel,
Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle at the Professional level, to a multicultural array of highoctane personalities it calls world champions, NHRA thrives on unique competitors accomplishing
unique achievements. There are more than 40,000 licensed NHRA drivers that compete at 130 NHRA
member tracks around the country.
