Siemens Sipart PS2
Description
Sipart PS2 is a digital valve positioner intended to control and
regulate the position of pneumatic actuators and valves. The device
is electropneumatic and operated by electricity and compressed air.
Sipart PS2 can control linear, rotary, single acting and double-acting
actuators.
• Easy configuration via the local input keys and LCD display or of
established bus systems, and also with the Simatic PDM (Hart or
Profibus PA).
• Easy to install.
• Quick Settings allows automatic adjustment of the valve open and
close the position.
• Also with Profibus PA alt. Foundation FF
• Negligible air consumption in stationary operation
• Air quality according to ISO 8573-1
• One device for both rotary and linear actuators.
• SIL 2 certification (Safety Integrity Level)
• Available in Ex-version in EEx ia/ib alt. EEx d.
• 0/4 to 20 mA control signal with or without HART communication.
• Protection class IP 66.
• Supply pressure: 1,4 - 7 bar.
• Ambiente temperature: -30°C - +80°C

Available with function modules:
• Ly module - position feedback 4-20 mA
• Alarm Module - 3 pcs DO as limit switches and alarms, 1DI such as
trigger signal "go to safe mode"
• Limit Module with 3 mechanical contacts
• NCR-sensor - separate external position sensor, for example at
high ambient temperatures or vibrations.
