Note: In most cases a check box must be selected to prevent the message from showing again. This document describes the step that CLEC must follow depending upon their desktop configuration for: Java version. How many versions of Java are loaded on their PC. The Security level set in your browsers. (See section 4.1 for an example) 1.1 Acronyms and Definitions The following terms and acronyms are used in this document. When CLEC tries to access IMA-GUI, the below pop-up window is shown indicating that IMAGUI is signed by a trusted authority (Verisign). This was introduced in Java 1.7 upgrade. B. CLEC must check “Always trust content from this publisher.” box and click Run to continue. C. IMA-GUI applet gets loaded and CLEC can start using the IMA-GUI application. CLEC will see another pop-up window to choose between latest or older version of Java. If the latest Java version on the desktop is not higher than 1.7.0_51, then select “Run with the latest version on your system (Recommended)” and click Continue. If latest Java version on the desktop is higher than 1.7.0_51, then select “Allow the application to run with the requested version (1.6.0.XX) “and click Continue. D. IMA-GUI applet gets loaded and CLEC can start using the IMA-GUI application. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 10 IMA-GUI Java 1.7 upgrade –User manual ________________________________________________________________________________ 4.0 Trouble-shooting Tips 4.1 How do I know my Security Level A. Go to your Control Panel and click on Java to open “Java control Panel” B. Select the “Security” tab on the Java Control Panel C. Ensure “Enable Java content in the browser” box is checked. 4.2 What if I cannot save my changes? The security settings in the Java Control Panel is applicable only to the users those who have installed Java versions 1.7.0_10 or higher.
