Dear Mo Steel Team Member,
The MARJCC Athletic Department welcomes you to the Mo Steel Family. This is our 15th season. Mo
Steel has become the gold standard for traveling flag football teams world-wide. Mo Steel has won
eight NFL National Championships in our history.
Congratulations on being selected onto the 2014-2015 Mo Steel Football Team. You have been
selected to this team for two reasons: Your skills and athleticism excel in football & we feel that you
have potential to grow as a player physically, mentally and emotionally.
Now that you have been selected, it is up to you, the player, to get the most out of this experience.
Playing for this team is hard work. Practices are mandatory and you must be in attendance at the
beginning of each session. No tardiness is accepted. Every effort should be made to complete
homework prior to practice so that you may fully concentrate on football. As a player on Mo Steel, you
must understand that this is a major responsibility. Poor performance in school, disrespectful behavior
to your family, teachers, teammates and/or coaches may result in dismissal from the team.
The value of “team” is strong. It is being part of a group that trains and works together to achieve a
common goal. To ensure the integrity and history of our program, we will strive to work as one unit,
respect one another and not engage in disrespectful or un-sportsmanlike behavior. We will give
maximum effort every time we meet.
Welcome to the MO STEEL family and I wish you luck and look forward to
a fun and exciting year.

Parent Code of Ethics
Conduct yourself in a sportsman-like manner
Not to coach or give instructions to the players including my own child during games or practices
Respect the officials and their calls. This is an attitude, which young athletes can learn by watching their
coaches and parents
Support your child, win or lose. Have patience with him during this learning experience
Talk to the coach at the beginning of the season regarding and concerns and/ or issues that you want
addressed before the season begins
If a concern arises during the season tell the coach
Remember, the nature of competition can cause young athletes to create a great deal of stress within
themselves. Support your young athletes
Be willing to relinquish the responsibilities for your child to the coach for the period of the game and
practice session
Lend your support to the team and coach
Insist that all children be given equal opportunities to participate
Insist that your child play in a safe and healthy environment
Never openly criticize referees during a game
Never confront the coach or team manager with emotional issues in front of the players
Never use inappropriate, derogatory or vulgar language during a game or practice
Ensure my child has the means to arrive and be picked up on time for practiced and games
Encourage my child to be the best TEAM player that he or she can be
Mo Steel Football and/or the JCC reserves the right to dismiss and parent or spectator that disobeys any
of the above
Player Code
Treat coaches, teammates, opponents, referees and spectators with courtesy and respect
Play to win but always fairly and with good sportsmanship
Accept the decisions of referees without gesture or argument
Control my temper and not use inappropriate, derogatory or vulgar language
Never criticize the play of others and never blame others for my mistakes
Follow the instructions of my coach without argument. This includes instructions regarding playing time
and position
Work hard, concentrate and not be disruptive in practices and games
Obey any team rules the coach puts in place
I will encourage good sportsmanship from fellow players, coaches, officials and parents at every game
and practice
I will attend every practice and game that is reasonably possible and notify my coach if I cannot.
I will do my very best to listen and learn from my coaches.
I will encourage my parents to be involved with my team in some capacity because it is important to me
I will do my very best in school

I will remember that sports are an opportunity to learn and have fun
Prime Time Football, the JCC and Mo Steel Football reserves the right to dismiss any athlete that
disobeys any of the above notes
The use of alcohol, tobacco or any other illegal substance is prohibited and will result in immediate
dismissal from the team

Payment Plan
1.
Base Fee
The base fee includes all league games, uniforms, special events and activities coaching and
fitness room training.
$1,000; JCC MEMBERS
$1250; ASSOC. MEMBERS
All players MUST be paid in full and registered in the membership office by
Tuesday, September 2.
Payment plans are available upon request.
Any player not paid and registered by September 2 will not be permitted to
practice with the team.

Tournaments
The base fee does not include away tournaments. The fee for away tournaments
will be provided one month before the event.
Only those players who are paid for that particular tournament may attend. A
complete breakdown of expenses will be given.
AN EMAIL WILL GO OUT TO EACH FAMILY AT LEAST ONE-MONTH
PRIOR TO A TOURNAMENT NOTIFYING YOU OF THE TOTAL COST.
PARENTS MUST EMAIL THE PROGRAM AND/OR PROGRAM
MANAGER WITHIN 2 DAYS OF BEING NOTIFIED OF THE TRIP IF
YOUR SON WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT.
OTHERWISE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED.
BY SIGNING THE CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION FORM, THE
MEMBERSHIP OFFICE WILL CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR THE
TRIP. NO REFUNDS ONCE THE TRIP IS BOOKED.
