n ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS: Submit drawing of
brand desired showing actual size and design when
ordering and specify if letters are to be 2”, 2 1/2”, 3”,
3 1/2”, or 4” in height. Designs of branders cannot be
changed after the brander is completed. All L & H Electric
Branders are normally shipped within two days from the
date order is received.

1/2” electric branders are made with a thin line 3/16”

NUMBER BRANDERS
Vertical Configuration
L & H Manufacturing Company, originator of the tubular

the first to develop a convenient and permanent
way of numbering livestock for production testing.
Because branding elicits a permanent mark, the
L & H Number Set is in popular demand
throughout the

The L & H Number
Set consists of

and individual irons. The first brander has the
numbers one, two & three; the second has
the numbers four, five & six; the third has the
numbers seven, eight & zero. By inverting the
six the number nine can be made. All numbers
on the brander are hot at the same time and are
offset so each can be applied separately. Only a
few minutes of your time are needed to make a
brand that will stay with the animal for a lifetime.

Using only a heavy duty three wire grounded
extension cord connected to a three wire grounded
electricity source will decrease your chances of
an electrical shock and increase the quality of the
finished brand. The iron will not work properly if the
extension cord is improperly sized too small. See
below chart for recommended gauge cord.

UNIVERSAL BRANDERS
The L & H Semi-Universal Brander has a half circle
and a two and one half inch bar. Almost any number
or letter can be made with a series of applications.
This unit is extensively used for custom branding or
numbering by stockmen with small herds. Operates on
110 volts, AC or DC.
