For Christmas Shoppers, Bath is a Gift…
If you are looking for the best of designer boutiques
and quirky independent shops, sitting happily
alongside a plethora of high street stores and
a magical Christmas Market, you have come to the
right place!
Bath has more shops than many much larger cities,
all located within a compact and achingly beautiful
city centre and made all the more picturesque at this
special time of year by twinkling festive lights.
But you aren’t here just to admire – what about the
shopping? You will surely find everything you need
here in Bath.
SouthGate welcomes you with a range of shops
offering designer brands and high street names. Here
you will find 21st century shopping in Georgian
splendour, with new shopping facilities blending
wonderfully with Bath’s period style.
Further into the city you will find a high street
area packed with all of the best-loved names, then

to discover something new. Delving deeper into the
maze of alleyways, you’ll find cobbled streets lined
with unusual and interesting retailers, and hidden
gems with exciting gift ideas.
Don’t miss Milsom Street, once voted as the ‘UK’s
Most Fashionable Street’, and home to the oldest
department store, Jolly’s, as well as Milsom Place,
a wonderful collection of designer stores and
decedent eateries, just waiting to be enjoyed.
For the more artisan shopper, Walcot Street is the
place to find quirky outlets, and don’t miss Green
Park Station, with its quality independent shops set
in an old railway station.
Just a step away from Bath Christmas Market is Bath
Guildhall Christmas Market, with its own Christmas
products and heated marquee.
Bath is the place to get your Christmas shopping
wrapped up, and with late night shopping every
Thursday in the run-up to Christmas and Sunday
opening throughout the year, there is always time to
pop back!

Further into the city you will find a high street
area packed with all of the best-loved names, then
explore passageways off of the main thoroughfares
to discover something new.
Thursday in the run-up to Christmas and Sunday
opening throughout the year, there is always time to
pop back!
